No way Arum risks Loma getting beat by a naturally stronger and bigger but old Pac. He knows it's very likely Crawford beat Pac at this point while Loma beating Pac is way less sure maybe Loma would be even an underdog there.

if Pac fights Loma and beats him that's a total L for Arum, his old fighter who's almost out of the game beat the new star and the other new star didn't get his big win which makes him known for casuals
no way that's gonna happen

Pacquiao cant beat Lomachenko:manny:

I wouldn't be surprised if The Toradol Terminator quits also:yeshrug:

#prettyboys :ahh:
Will be interesting....pacman is the bigger stronger guy but he ain't his old self. He's turning into Roy where he can't quite pull the trigger like he used to. Reflexes and physical gifts are going. The Horn fight shows he is nowhere near what he used to be :francis:

Lets get it:ahh:

GGG paving the way for more Kazakhs to go pro. Still pissed that DANIYAR YELEUSSINOV got screwed outta his pro deal and returned to being an amateur. How do you screw up a deal with someone who casually strolls to gold medal in the 2016 Olympics and didn't even lose a round throughout the tournament :dahell::wtf::mindblown::ufdup::snoop:

who are these guys?
idk a lot about them but new TR fighters who gonna be with them from their 1st pro fights so I thought worth a mention
they usually don't just pick up scrubs from the start

heard some good things about this Spencer guy, he is just 17 or so
and the other one is a former Kazakh amateur didn't find a lot of info on him, he is mentioned here though Yerzhan Zhomart, Ikboljon Kholdarov and Sagadat Rakhmankulov are among the winners in the Abdaliyev Tournament in Shymkent

didn't hear that
what happened?

btw that's onre of my wishes for boxing that I hope pro boxing will become more prestigous in every country than amateur
some ppl view the 2 as rivals or each other's alternatives I don't agree I think amateur boxing should be the lobby of pro boxing not the final destination. With every boxing country preferring pro boxing the sport would have an even deeper talent pool which is good for everyone.

They know exactly they would lose to Crawford that's why they push for Loma who's still significantly smaller and never fought over 130 :mjlol:

but it won't happen as Roach wants it, Arum gonna push through that Crawford fight he won't let a semi retired senator blowing up his plans with Loma :manny: and yes there's a chance that current Lomachenko would beat current Pac but that would be a legit risk for Loma, Pac is at his best in 147 Í(but probably can make 140) at this point while the highest Loma ever fought is 130

He was supposed to turn pro after the olympics and due to fallout he decided to go 2020 olympics instead.
To your other point most of these dudes in the amateur system seem to get some payment from it in these areas once they reach a certain level so it seems like turning pro isn't that appealing to them. Apart from eastern bloc it seems ireland got good amateur system but a good number of em ain't turning pro but from a small population they got BJS Fury and Frampton etc. Cuba another one....imagine a guy like Kindelaid or Savon turned pro he would be a problem. But for some reason that doesn't materialize.:francis:
TRT keeps tabs on some cats like this but that untapped talent pool outchea :ohhh:
shyt kinda feels like mma where there are tons of amateur wrestlers with tools but they ain't going for that route. Man like Jordan Borroughs would beast in there

idk who's that but I agree overall

I think more and more post-Soviet boxers realize that they can make better money in the US though... so that's good

Cubans are different in that they officially can't turn pro it's not only about they want it or not

algieri over lamont peterson..really breh? :hhh:
Yes. Algeri has a kickboxing pedigree and lasted the distance despite getting dropped by Pacquiao late in the fight. Lamont is a damn good fighter but at this stage Chris is a better lamb than Peterson. He's been in too many wars and takes too much punishment.
