Josh Kelly seems to have the goods though
This style what him, Haye, Thurman, Groves, Burnett, even Pascal are doing is very power dependent though, it makes you fight in spots, if you have power you can be successful with it but if not then you will suffer. This is why I was not impressed with Burnett and thought Zhakiyanov should have won, if you get outworked without significantly hurting the other you won't win a round based on a few eye catching shots in my books that's some BS...
Kelly though seemingly has the power and seems to be quick on his feet too and has a good upper body movement. Still gotta see how he's doing against a higher level brawler or pressure fighter though who has a good chin, not easy to discourage and throws volume. Someone like Porter
these guys gotta watch Haye vs Chisora before they face such an opponent to have some better idea what to do and to not make the mistake what Burnett did, landing a few eye catching shots and trying to hold the rest of the round while getting outworked on the inside
but the judges still gave the fight to him, widely... so, oh well...
