Athletes these days are just different specimens, SRR whould get his ears boxed off; nobody is standing in the middle of the ring in one spot like cavemans going back n forth....

Now the 80's other shyt was going on(roids) nikkas were fast, shredded, had power far far outside of their initial weight class; so I'll entertain theoretical matches with the current age there.....

You just made my point tho.

SRR fought a style that dominated in his era. Also, them dudes still had skill and talent, people dismiss it cause the footage is in black/white. SRR was a different type athlete as well, he was a specimen in his era.

If he came along in the modern era, he would probably fight/learn a different style. He would have generations of talent before him to improve on...so no, he wouldnt be getting his ears boxed off. :manny:

It's all fantasy tho. I'm just not gonna dismiss SRR cause the style he fought in 80 years ago. If Floyd was in that era would he even be a defensive fighter, would it translate well like it did in this era, we dont know.

Floyd has the best plus minus offensively because he is the best defensive fighter of al time by numbers, never being dropped etc, dont forget this this......Floyd is better in the caveman era

Not only that in general, when we talk athletes from different generations. If they were to come along in a more modern era they might have completely different styles.

They always said SRR was way ahead of his time the way he fought.

I just imagine if he fought in the modern era he would be 10X as good.

Era of 200 fights vs Era of 30-50 fights, yeah the caliber of opponent has to be factored but over 100 KOs too :damn: He got more KOs then some boxers have fights.

He boxed in an era where like 2-3/10 American men were boxing (FOR A CHECK) ... so yes the caliber of opponent has to be factored because he fought a lot of bums.

Of course hes an all time great and we appreciate what hes done for the sport

Appreciate any fighter that paved the way for TBE :Mayweather:

He fought and beat more prime HOFers than Floyd.....he had 26 fights against HOF opponents & lost only 5.:camby:

He also earned respect from all races, as a black man live from america, in a time where racism against black people was extreme & in the open...THATS how great he was:ufdup:

Not even racism could get in the way of SRR being labeled the GOAT fighter by Boxing historians :birdman:

And he didn't pick and choose either:whew:

From the A-Sides & #1 P4P List.....to fighting on the King's Undercard. The wins just keep piling up. :wow:

- King Sor

King Sor the great :wow: #ratpack

Where is this card going to be held?

Must pay respects once more to the king

After quelling a rebellion, he and could have had Roman drawn and quartered...... :wow:

Instead out of kindness he lets Roman become a vassal to try and reclaim his name once more......... :wow:

Such greatness :mjcry:

We are not worthy :mjcry:

King Sor! :blessed:
