All we want to know is when DA fighting next his team is :francis:

Lara in September.

I'm thinking Andrade sitting out to make sure Lara cant come back and fight anyone else but him....bc Lara been sitting out for a minute himself. I'm sure if Andrade announced his next fight, Lara wouldve came out and announced someone else immediately after.

So, hopefully, we returning in September vs Lara:obama:

And :wow: at Andrade saying he'd beat Andre Ward's ass...he aint no Kovalev:wow:

I have no confidence in Lara Andrade regardless that I was told first hand the fight can't be mandated till September. That means they may not fight till Nov-Oct

But I'll hope for the best.

I can't remember who I was arguing with who said they wanted Broner/Alexander and I responded "you should've been asking for Garcia/Donaire too" due to them having same trainer.

Well, did you see Kevin Cunningham in Broner's corner last night?:mjpls:

That's what I was talking about.

Broner: I Ain't Trippin Over Loss, I'll Be World Champ Real Soon!

By Radio Rahim

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - On Saturday night, Mikey Garcia (37-0, 30 KOs) made a successful jump to the junior welterweight division with a twelve round unanimous decision over four division world champion Adrien Broner (33-3, 24 KOs).

The three judges scored it 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112.

Broner, who turned 28 on Friday, suffered his first defeat outside of the welterweight limit. His two prior losses came at the hands of former welterweight champions Shawn Porter and Marcos Maidana.

He captured three divisional titles by the age of 23, but was never able to reclaim his top standing after suffering his first, to Maidana - who ironically is trained by Mikey Garcia's older brother, Robert Garcia.

Broner is not worried about the defeat. He feels confident that another world title is right around the corner.

"Mark my words, I'll be world champion real soon. I just turned 28, my career aint over - I got a long way to go. Were going to go to the drawing board with About Billions Promotions and Al Haymon, and do what's best for me," Broner told BoxingScene.com.

"Ain't nobody undefeated. Everybody got one, two or three losses. It's what you do after the loss. I'm good, I'm in shape like a motherf***er. I didn't take no real punishment. He was the better man tonight, but mark my words - I will be world champion real soon."

Broner was not happy with his performance against Garcia. He was outworked for the majority of the fight, but started coming on in the late rounds to make the contest more competitive.

He believes that Garcia got hurt a few times in the later rounds and did what was necessary to run out the clock.

"I can't say im proud of my performance, but I'm a dog. I don't lay down. When my back is against the wall, I have to go get it. He was definitely declining, for sure, but he was up on the points and he played the game. I aint mad at him," Broner said.

He should've said this in the post fight interview instead of that other stuff:francis:

Anyway, 5th Championship coming soon:aboutbillions:

nikka yes u did lay down. Mikey landed like 4 god shots a round and AB didn't even try to make any adjustments or let his hands go. Getting outboxed is one thing but to just lay down like this:hhh:

the real hiphop.
He'll "bounce back" winning a paperbelt against some Allahkhverdiev type of opponent but he can't win against any B+ fighter in 140 or 147, can he make 135 though? Probably, he looked comfortable making 138 lbs.
