Again, if you can complain about Loma not fighting Rigo and instead fighting Marriaga....then you should have also been able to complain about Canelo not fighting The Charlos/Andrade & instead fighting Kirkland, Khan, & Smith


Y'all gave Canelo a huge pass by coming up with all type of Juelz reasoning as to why Canelo didn't need to face any of the top notch, prime 154lbers calling him out. I've been on record saying this multiple times before, so me posting Jermell Charlo saying that's the reason he's picking GGG (because Canelo avoided them) is not me "suddenly picking the Charlos" to be someone who can possible beat Canelo bc I said it many times previously

Canelo took a fight with Khan, who was 2 divisions below him. Did you support that?
GGG took a fight with Brook, who was 2 divisions below him. Did you support that?

Rigo is currently 2 divisions below Loma and 36 years old.

For the record, I'm against moving up 2 divisions and getting a title fight. I think they should meet at 126. I was against both of the fights above.

Loma has moved up. Loma fought a Champion in his 2nd professional fight....and almost won that fight against all odds. How you gonna tell me to respect the guy who turned down a fight for reasonable bread, and yall dont respect the one who actually offered the fight and was told no?

Nah you both wrong. They both got fights they gotta deal with right now. Hopefully we'll see first quarter 2018. 500k ain't short money IMO. Loma ain't a star outside the boxing world yet, although a much bigger draw than Rigo. Wonder if this fight will be on ESPN, or is Loma owned by HBO? Like Kkkov is?

I think he should move up in weight and show he can even compete at higher weights, bc I feel when they do fight, he's gonna be too little for Loma, will get KD, and lose....and then its only gonna be excuses afterwards in here about the weight.

Loma isn't fighting him at 126. He offered him that fight at 126 for 500k....Rigo turned it down. Loma moved up to 130 now and won't go back down anymore.

Loma is K2 and HBO, Rigo is going to be a free agent after Roc Nation goes down, probably should go to Al Haymon.

That said I really hope the two make this fight happen, and quite frankly I don't see a point in either of the fights they have planned.

I'm not mad at the fighters for wanting the challenge. I don't think it's in the best interest of the fighters safety and think the commission should stop that. Rigo is obviously an elite level fighter so it doesn't seem as bad, but what if it's a jobber moving up 2 divisions. They could be killed doing that.

Khan got obliterated by Canelo.
Brook fought well but damn near lost his eye against GGG.
JMM lost every round against Floyd and these are elite level fighters.

Also factor in that there are fighters in the division, and the divisions above and below that should be getting that shot first.

Even if you combine the GRJ and Walters win I'd still say Rigo's>Loma's . But that's just me.
