Dan Rafael chat wrap 7/6:

Pacquiao vs. Horn:
- Scored the fight 9-3 Pacquiao. Could see 8-4. At best it is 7-5 Horn, but he really didn't win 7 rounds.
- When he heard the judging panel he thought it was a weak crew. Judges need better training. Not good when all 3 judges think a fighter won, but the majority of the world thinks the other guy won.
- Maybe judges saw the blood from Pacquiao and scored the blood.
- Almost certain Pacquiao will go for the rematch. Win or lose, Pacquiao should retire after that.
- Thought Mark Nelson did a good job refereeing the fight.
- The two stories from the fight: Pacquiao got robbed and Pacquiao is no longer an elite fighter.
- Worse decision: Pacquiao vs. Bradley 1 or Horn? Bradley. One of the worst decisions in boxing history.
- Laughed when Horn called out Mayweather.
- Rematch won't be in the US.

The rest of boxing:
- Sergio Martinez is a second tier all time MW, not in the SRR, Hagler, Hopkins, Monzon class. HOF'er in waiting.
- CW tournament is fantastic and loaded with talent. SMW does not have nearly the depth to make good matchups across the board.
- Rob Brant is a darkhorse for the SMW tournament.
- Lots of good matchups for the CW's you can make in the first round. Hopes we don't see a Breidis-Huck rematch right away.
- Would have preferred Glowacki over Perez in the tournament. Perez hasn't earned it.
- Root for Eubank to beat Abraham, so Abraham doesn't make the SMW tournament. Hard for many to root for Eubank though.
- Linares is supposed to fight Sept. 23 on HBO, potentially vs. Salido. Has not heard rumors he will sign with Schaefer. He currently is with Mr. Honda and GB.
- Talked with Hopkins earlier and he was in California at a friend's wedding and said he was working out. Joked about a comeback and Hopkins said no way. He is officially retired.
- Thinks the Connor fight is a one and done for Mayweather. There isn't anything out there that can generate this money, so after the fight believes he goes back into retirement.
- Spence will fight before the end of the year. Hasn't heard anything on opponents, dates, or TV network.
- Duran vs. Lomachenko at 135? Duran is the greatest ever at 135 and had no peer. Duran.
- Tim Bradley's next fight might be vs. Olympian Jose Ramirez. Interesting crossroads fight.
- Thoughts on Mick Conlan? Excellent prospect and big personality.
- Fights haven't been taking place at casinos in Atlantic City because for the most part they are all in bankruptcy.
- Lots of promotional companies are having good years. GB, TR with ESPN, K2, Eddie Hearn, and PBC on Showtime all doing well this year.
- Hearing Mares vs. LSC will now be Oct. 7.
- Froch for HOF? Probably.
- The reason why Joshua didn't get stripped by the IBF and Tyson Fury did? Joshua asked for an exception before the deadline, Fury did not.
- Not surprised that Kovalev-Ward 2 did poor numbers. The promotion was horrible.
- Would still like to see Stevenson-Kovalev, but would prefer Stevenson-Ward.
- No idea on Ward's next promotional move. You can bet he will be making less in his next fight.
- Toussaint clearly beat Shane Mosley Jr.
- Betting the Mayweather vs. McGregor PPV will be $99.
- Haye says he will be back this year. Imagines a fall rematch with Bellew.
- Still expects a Joshua vs. Klitschko rematch.
- Joshua vs. Pulev? Joshua would KO him.

good article right here

one of the realest paragraphs written..hmmm where has this been uttered before? :patrice:

I don't get the moaning about good fight not taking place in 147.

147 is clear cut the best, most stacked division now and it will only get stronger when Crawford move up. Fights not taking place? Brook vs Porter, Porter vs Thurman, Thurman vs Garcia, Spence vs Brook... like that are we talking about? Aside of old man Pac who just lost to a teacher every top 147 pounder put himself in a real test at least once in the past 2 years.

Rigo fights at 122, and is the champ. Therefore, not rankes at 130.

Marriaga fights at 130 and isn't ranked at 130.

Trash fight.

Marriaga doesnt fight at 130....so, if he's going to bring up a Featherweight not being ranked at Junior Lightweight, then he's being biased.

Weak article.

Another Gold Medal
GGG KOs Canelo or loses via robbery...only 2 outcomes for that fight:smugbiden:

I've been on record saying Canelo avoided all them 154lbers...he could've fought them but thought James Kirkland, Alfredo Angulo, and Liam Smith were more deserving than Demetrius Andrade, Jermall Charlo, and Jermell Charlo:mjpls:

If thought was Loma doing that to Rigo, you'd speak on it...since it was Canelo doing it to Andrade, yall thought it was ok:sas2:

#CaneloCartel

:mjpls:

Except none of them nikkas were fighting each other waiting on Canelo might as well call him Daddy. :dame:

:mjlol: according to ya ggg is this killer and all that moving up to fight him >> Andrade who only fights every 3rd summer solstice.

Rigo already has a p4p w on his resume and 2 gold medals. :camby:
