He abandoned it, Dirrell was trying to move the date and location of the fight. Hearn said it was already locked in via signed contracts. Perhaps it wasn't so they said fukk it bailed out onto something potentially more lucrative.

In the mean time Dirrell will be matched up against highest ranked contender that'll fight in Flint, Michigan... Sept. 8
So does that mean Benavidez for the belt, because he became next in line after that asswhooping he gave Medina. I'm taking the young gawd over all these other 168lbers.

So lets talk about Bob Arum paying off the judges to rob Pacquiao. This is how I feel. This fight against Horn was Pacmans last fight contractually with TR. If Pacman wins the decision he deserved, hes now free to many other options aside from what TR can offer. So Arum has Pacman robbed once the fight goes the distance so that it limits his options elsewhere since hes coming off a loss, and so that he can offer a contract extension to Pacman packaged with a rematch and rubber for a nice guarantee.

Last time this happened?
Against Tim Bradley.

Going into Bradley 1 Pacman was in his last fight contractually with TR. With a Mayweather fight out there, a Pacman win could have set Pacman up for big $ outside of what TR could offer. Then the fight against Bradley happened and Pacman got robbed. No other offers came to Pacman except for a nice $10 million plus guarantee and a rematch and rubber with Bradley. And they all happened.

Here we go again.

Y'all still can't believe Pacquaio lost to a School Teacher huh?:heh:

He lost 7-5 on 2 different scorecards, that alone caused him to lose, and I myself had already given Horn 5 of the first 9 rounds....had Horn up 86-85 before the beginning of the 10th round, and stopped scoring to watch the last 3 rds as strictly a fan bc I thought Pacquiao was going to finish Horn in the 10th after watching the 9th round:hubie:

A fight between light-heavyweight contenders Artur Beterbiev and Enrico Kolling is looking likely to be cancelled, due to Beterbiev’s promoters GYM not organizing the fight and being unwilling to announce a date and venue of the eliminator.

The pair were looking to finalize a deal to compete for a IBF final eliminator bout which was in play for a date at the end of July. No date or venue were confirmed, but locations such as Quebec and Montreal in Canada and New York were touted.

Per the IBF rules, the fight had to take place before the beginning of August, and with just over three weeks until the proposed date, the fight is in limbo.

Over the weekend, both Artur Beterbiev and Enrico Kolling updated Boxing News Today on the current situation of their fight. Beterbiev had signed a contract for the fight already, however Kolling had not received or signed a contract to make the fight official.

The collapse of the fight has come in the middle of Beterbiev’s ongoing promotional battle with Yvon Michel’s GYM. The 32-year-old is looking to terminate his contract with them due to GYM not respecting their contractual obligations to him.

GYM put Artur Beterbiev in a situation in which he had to sign the contract for the eliminator, because if he had refused to do so, he would have been disqualified by the IBF for refusing the bout against Kolling. And Beterbiev signed the contract several hours before the deadline.

”There comes a point where a person needs to take a stand and says enough is enough. This is not a hobby for me, it’s my career. It’s how I feed my family and ensure the future of my children. I came to a point where I felt I had no choice but to take action in order to protect my rights. No fighter’s career is eternal,” stated Beterbiev.

Despite the promotional issues going on outside of the ring, Beterbiev said he was confident that everything would remain in place for his scheduled return against Kolling.

”I have a duly signed agreement for an IBF eliminator fight in July and I expect everyone to live up to their contractual obligations.”

”I’m hard at work in preparing for the fight in order to ensure that I show up in peak physical condition. My sole focus is on the challenge that a fight with Kolling poses. He’s a world caliber fighter and it is imperative that my preparation be optimal. I’m following Mark Ramsay’s directions to ensure a successful camp.”

Many people had been questioning why there had not been an official announcement for the fight. In an exclusive interview with Enrico Kolling, who has only lost one of his 24 fights revealed unlike Beterbiev he hasn’t signed a contract to fight just yet, but is training to prepare for the fight and has been told there are plans in place for a date and location.

”I have not signed a fight contract yet, everything has been verbal. According to the plans, the fight will take place on July 29 in Montreal, Canada. I hope this works out as I am preparing for this date,” revealed Kolling.

”I am excited and looking forward to boxing a strong man to decide who is ready for a world championship. I think a lot of Beterbiev and I know I am the underdog but I want to use all opportunities to get to the top. I think that I am just as long in the ring as he and I also have a lot of experience although I am younger.”

It's more of getting attention to a division thats long overdue. The last time the CW division got a push on US TV was in the mid to late 00s when you have the likes of Haye, USS, Bell,Mormeck, Adamek floating around. CW is unique because it has strong parity, possibly the strongest in all the divisions. No type of easy wins in there. As mentioned they all hit hard as fukk. I'm expecting to see some :wow: level fades in this tournament with possible FOTY candidates. Even better all the champions are in it so unifying all 4 belts is a strong possibility and overdue. It would be disappointing if it doesn't live to the hype but at least it improves on the OG Super Six. No round robin shyt just single elimination.

It's a DQ because he got knocked out way after the bell...you don't see that happen and the first thing you say "oooh that's a no contest right there" :ooh:...:heh:....its not the first and prolly won't be the last time an obvious DQ is ruled a NC for whatever reason...it is what it is..and that's why they call it gambling...fukkery is hitting something I shouldn't hit ...and I always have enough dough for that lol...so bring on them rematch odds :ohlawd:

Rigeaux in Round 2 :wow:

NC no chance you get a no contest again
