On the Mikey video: That video ain't AS bad as its being made out to be. He brings up the shooting by saying "its very sad.. very wrong," while also expressing disappointment when Ellie tells him that the cop "got away." He makes problematic statements; for example when he tries to make it seem like Castile or even his own father could have done something to escape unjust police harassment, but I don't believe he's a blind 'blue lives matter' type of person. He's trying to be fair to both sides, but I think he's wrong on this particular issue, which is shameful no doubt. Ellie a POS for trying to rack up views by putting Mr. Castile's name on a boxing channel.

Ellie bringing it up as legitimate discussion or Ellie bringing it up because he wants to garner views to his channel? Seckbach is a trash journalist reporter or whatever you want to call him, and I think it's clear that this is an attempt to stir controversy to boost views for his videos. Take a look at how he sensationalizes his titles, the man is only looking for clicks.

When reviewing the video, I think about the responses I hear and read from people who vehemently defend police: they NEVER show any sympathy to the victims, nor do they ever place responsibility on the police.

In the video, Garcia clearly expresses that he believes that the shooting was unnecessary, and tragic. It also seems like he thinks that the cop should be punished for what happened to Castile.

Of course, THIS DOESN'T EXCUSE EVERYTHING he says on video, because he does go on to shift the responsibility onto the citizens. He rationalizes this by saying that given the history of police violence in this country, people need to do everything to avoid getting killed -- essentially urging people to follow cops orders not because cops are always in the right, but because it's too risky to even talk wrong to a cop.

It's misguided, naive, IGNORANT. He throws his father under the bus in the process. But this don't seem racist to me, just that Mikey simply doesn't understand how easy people are getting killed in this country by police.
