Klimas was talking like he's in charge dared Rigo to move up to 130 but when they say they would move up he goes :whoa: and telling us how he's not in charge to decide about that :mjlol:

Klimas is not a sympathetic guy at all idek why so many of these EE talents sign with Klimas of all people. Does he have so good connections?
Yea Klimas is your way out of EE.

Who do y'all think Ward is similar to as far as his boxing style goes either historically or currently?
Kinda like hopkins in that he is cerebral and a spoiler but Ward is a switch hitter. Both are very defensively sound. They both could break their opponents down and had vicious body shots although Bernard could be straight up vicious . That oscar one. :hubie:
Hopkins is the one that immediately comes to mind for me although they all had their own ticks to their game.
He never got to fight james toney unfortunately :francis:

this is when parker's reign comes to an end...hughie i dont think much of but he should be able to beat him
Joseph Parker vs. Hughie Fury Now in Manchester, September 23

New Zealand's star fighter, WBO world heavyweight boxing champion Joseph Parker, has been forced to take his fight with British boxer, Hughie Fury, to the UK after the later's camp refused to fight in Auckland.

Fury and Parker were originally set to fight in Auckland in May in the mandatory challenge to Parker's WBO belt but Fury pulled out two weeks before the bout citing a back injury as the reason.

In the lead up to the fight, Fury's camp had made it clear they weren't interested in having the fight in New Zealand and even tried to have it moved to the UK at the last minute.

Fury (20-0, 10 KOs) was replaced by Romanian boxer Razvan Cojanu in the May fight, and he was dominated over twelve rounds, but negotiations with the Brit's camp continued as he still held the rights to the WBO's mandatory challenge to Parker's belt.

The new fight will take place in Fury's hometown of Manchester on September 23.

It'll be Parker's first fight in the UK and just his third outside the South Pacific. Fury is taking a stay busy fight on July 8 at Copper Box in London.

Parker (23-0, 18 KOs) said he's looking forward to taking the fight to the UK.

"In the contact is what we want and David (Higgins) has worked very hard to get the contract sorted and now that it's ready and the date is confirmed, we're looking forward to going over to the UK and making a statement and putting on a great show," Parker said.

"The idea of going to the UK is something I am looking forward to, and no I don't hold any grudges (about Fury not coming to NZ on May 6), I just go in there respect my opponent and do what I have to do. That's go in there and win the fight and defend my title and keep it here."

He isnt in charge though...he just a manager...but he did say they would fight him. What do you want him to say?

You know that Rigo manager aint in charge neither and RNS would have to agree to terms with TR for that fight to happen:manny:

This is just posturing.

However, Rigo just fought on PPV vs Flores for $120k...so it BETTER NOT be any money demands from him:ufdup:

point is, he's a clown

dude was never sympathetic and it even got worse after he mouthed so much before ward vs Kovalev II

The hell does him being sympathetic or Ward/Kovalev gotta do with Loma?:dahell:

If Rigo want that work, he needs to have RNS contact TR, accept that 350k offer they gonna toss his way, and get up to 130. No more hiding behind money demands again, when he just co main evented a PPV for 120k.

the best comparison I could come up with too but the resemblance isn't that big, just bigger than with other fighters I can think of.
When Ward's is on the inside he also a little like Henry Armstrong but overall not really cause Armstrong was an always come forward pressure fighter while Ward is rather a boxer puncher who fights equally well at all ranges and maintains good defense/safety but also aggressively bully his opponents on the inside.

I talked about Egis Klimas the clown who dared Rigo to move up to 130 to fight like he would be in the position where he can decide about the fight and then when they say they would go 130 he goes :whoa:"talk about this with Arum I don't decide". His mouth was fukking big again and ow he's looking like a fool. Don't dare fighters and send media messages if you aren't the one who gonna decide.

Yeah he is an anomaly because even with power punchers despite not being the hardest hitter he still roughs dudes up on the inside although he doesn't have that volume that armstrong had. And Ward is deceptively strong too. There is also the fact that he is no joke on the outside and as pretty quick feet even when closing the distance

My point is, they are both talking shyt. Only thing they can do is agree to weight, but neither can sign a fight....TR & RNS would have to do that.

We need Arum & Yormack to get involved for this fight to happen. It sounds like the fighters are down to fight, but I'm still skeptical Rigo gonna turn it down over money again.

Are there reports of what Rigo walks around at or what he's weighed in on fight night? I want to see that fight but that might be too big of a jump.
