Of course briggs has higher level of testosterone. He's been on trt for a few years now. What 50 year old man all of the sudden gets back into boxing and is just as fast as he was when he was in his 20s :comeon:

Normal people age like Bernard hopkins. You see how he slowed down and lost some of his power and his body changed physically.

Trt is very popular in America for middle aged people. How many mma fighters did we see come into a 2nd prime of their career in their 40s. Because it was an epidemic in the ufc.
TRT vitor

https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...m-defeats-murata-in-split-decision/101917154/

OKYO (AP) — WBA middleweight interim champion Hassan N'Dam survived a fourth-round knockdown on Saturday and went on to a split-decision win over Japan's Ryota Murata.

The crowd at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo jeered after the decision making N'Dam the regular WBA middleweight champ was announced. Two judges scored 116-111 and 115-112 to the French boxer, but one judge gave the fight to Murata at 117-110.

Murata, who won gold at the London Olympics, was making his first world title challenge.

Murata kept edging N'Dam toward the ropes, often landing straights and bringing him down in the fourth. But N'Dam scored effectively with multiple jabs, circling around Murata, especially in the final rounds.

N'Dam, 33, improves to 36-2, 21 knockouts. It was the first loss for the 31-year-old Murata, who has 12 wins, nine by KO, after turning professional four years ago.

In other action, the 21-year-old Daigo Higa (13-0, 13 KOs) stopped Mexico's Juan Hernandez in the sixth round for the WBC flyweight title. Higa's win brought the first championship to the gym run by Japanese Hall of Famer Yoko Gushiken.

Hernandez fell to 36-4, 26 KOs.

Although Hernandez used his trademark footwork to flit around the ring, Higa's left hook brought Hernandez down in the second and fifth rounds. Higa stopped him in the sixth after landing a flurry of punches to Hernandez's body and head.

"I had faith in him. He promised me he would become champion," said Gushiken, who hugged Higa repeatedly in the ring afterward.

In an earlier bout, Japan's Ken Shiro (10-0, 5 KOs) defeated Mexico's Ganigan Lopez (28-7, 17 KOs) by a majority decision for the WBC light flyweight title. Two judges scored the fight 115-113, and one had it 114-114. The 25-year-old Japanese put the belt first on his father, a former Asian and Japanese boxing champion.

Separately, in Nagoya, central Japan, Japan's Kosei Tanaka (9-0, 5 KOs) defended his WBO light flyweight title for the first time, beating Angel Acosta of Puerto Rico by unanimous decision.

interesting how they don't mention a robbery at all in this article but other sites like Boxingscene seems to be outraged

Big Changes at 108: BoxingScene Ratings Update

by Cliff Rold

Super Middleweight: David Benavidez made a big time statement on Saturday, dominating and stopping veteran Rogelio Medina just one year after Medina gave James DeGale everything he could handle. Benavidez, only 20, showed power, speed, and technique. Andre Dirrell was down on the cards when a foul ended his night. He won, but he didn’t beat Jose Uzcategui and can’t really move up on the performance.

Middleweight: When the head of a sanctioning body comes out and apologizes to the loser of a fight and immediately orders a rematch, one can feel safe the judges got it wrong. That’s what happened in the Ryoto Murata loss to Hasan N’Dam N’Jikam and Murata enters the top ten above N’Jikam. Immanuwel Aleem exits the top ten.

Jr. Welterweight: Rances Barthelemy enters the top ten but there was some debate about the winner of his physical battle with Kiryl Relikh. While this corner agreed with the decision, the scores gap might have been a bit wide. Interesting: Ricky Burns beat Relikh more convincingly. Barthelemy enters just behind Burns. Anthony Ygit exits the top ten.

Jr. Lightweight: Gervonta Davis gets a bump after a fantastic road performance against Liam Walsh.

Featherweight: Gary Russell, still the division leader, sends Oscar Escandon out of the top ten. Entering is Josh Warrington.

Flyweight: Juan Hernandez lost his 112 lb. title on the scales; then he got stopped in the ring. 21-year old Daigo Higa grabs the vacant WBC belt and the young man has a high ceiling. Hernandez drops a few spots.

Jr. Flyweight: This division had all sorts of wild going on this week. Kosei Tanaka dominated tough mandatory Angel Acosta and moves to the top spot amidst the chaos. Ken Shiro enters the top ten with an upset of previous leader Ganigan Lopez. Milan Melindo, who looked like he was on the way down not long ago, came up with a career best night, dropping veteran Akira Yaegashi three times in the first to draw the stoppage. Melindo makes a big jump in the ratings with his fourth straight win.

The full results of note and the total impact on the ratings are a click away.

What the fukk is this shyt? :gucci::dahell:
that was a close fight whoever gave that to Murata by 117-110 is high. Barthelemy vs Relikh scoring was actually worse than that. NO matter how hard they try to convince me about this being a robbery it was not.

Did I miss something and everybody just wanted Murata to win so badly?

Now I'm gonna root for N'dam on the rematch. He is an indifferent fighter for me but this whining from the boxing media is a fukking joke. :shaq2:

Uz fukked up on his own and I haven't read through the thread but is everyone in agreement that Dirrell played up how hurt he was to get a DQ?

I believe he was hurt but I did see on RB twitter feed that somebody said that Dirrell's corner was yelling at him to stay down. Regardless it should have been a NC just like people been saying in here. Uzwas on his way to winning it seems plus he was up on the cards.
