They all fear him. Fear is wisdom. The cartels can only ravage you body. #canelocartel ravages your body and soul
Look at what happened to Chavez. Going into this he was already taking L's but afterwards the L's stacked up :picard:
Lose over 50 pounds in 9 months and seclude yourself in the Temoyoayan mountains. Have one of the greatest trainers in Nacho, Memo and Chavez Sr. in your corner and look like shyt come fight day:picard:
Canelo was standing between rounds too. :mjlol:
Get put on blast by your own father on national TV :picard:
Get your fight purse cheque, 40k watch jacked by a bunch of groupies :picard:
The Aztec God of war Huitzilopochtli himself frowns down upon Chavez. No one wants that kinda spiritual battle. #canelocartel may become the new EA cover curse

Seriously though I think he has to be neutral or cool with them. If the cartel wants you they will get you. They got serious connections in Mexico:hubie:

Now that Canelo is officially at 160, it appears he is going to have less cherry picking opportunities, can we agree?

Looks like his best options are actually going to be live opponents.

There were just too many opportunities at 154 for cherry picking while he was there. He could lure the talent from 147. He had the past their prime guys at 154.
Live opponents?...

Assuming he gets a win over GGG, none of the other middleweights stand a chance. None.

Daniel Jacobs currently is as close as it gets for having another competitor that could cause a post-GGG victory Canelo any type of trouble.

This would be pretty dope
Imagine Lemieux vs Jacobs being on Canelo vs GGG undercard setting up a fight between the two winners :obama:

I don't think Oscar gonna let it happen though... or y'all think after the lawsuits and their past he's gonna give a Haymon fighter a chance like that... to fight and probably beat one of his fighters on the undercard of the biggest fight in the sport?

Carl Frampton Heading Up in Weight? Debuts at WBA #2 at 130

Former two division world champion Carl Frampton could be hunting for a third world title.

The Belfast star has been removed from the WBA's featherweight rankings and the sanctioning body has now placed him in the number two position in the top ten of their super featherweight ranks.

Frampton (23-1, 14 KOs) has been out of the ring since losing a close twelve round majority decision, and the WBA featherweight title, in his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz back in January at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight was a rematch of their bout from last July, which saw Frampton win a close majority decision to win the WBA belt at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Frampton captured his first world title in April 2014, when he won a solid twelve round unanimous decision over Kiko Martinez to pick up the IBF super bantamweight world title at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

He then became a unified champion in February 2016, when he won a twelve round split decision over longtime rival Scott Quigg to collect the WBA title at Manchester Arena.

After back to back fights in the United States, Frampton would like to return back home to stage a show in Belfast in the coming months.

He was pushing to get a trilogy fight with Santa Cruz, but those plans were dashed away when the sanctioning body ordered Santa Cruz to make a mandatory defense against the Abner Mares, who holds the WBA's "regular" version of the featherweight crown.

Frampton could be looking to hold a one-off fight a 130-pounds while the moving pieces play out at 126 - as most of the big names are already scheduled to take part in other fights.

The champions at 130 include Miguel Berchelt, Gervonta Davis, Vasyl Lomachenko and Jezreel Corrales.

Corrales has the WBA's version of the belt, but he's rumored to be returning in July, possibly against Robinson Castellanos.

ADRIEN BRONER BATTLES WEIGHT GAIN WHILE PARTYING IN MIAMI; SUMMER RETURN STILL IN WORKS || FIGHTHYPE.COM

:francis:

as much as I don't like this dude I can't front... I'd feel sorry if he would just flush down his career on the toilet at the age of 27 because of the lack of commitment and out ring fukkery.
He probably never make 140 again and I don't feel that he could become an elite welter, not right now at least

a career that will seemingly be lost on the scales...just like brandon rios...its sad

Age 27 Lomachenko was getting recognition as one of the p4p best and was already know as one of the ATG amateurs.
Canelo accumulated probably the best resume of anyone not named Andre Ward and he turning 27 this year.
At age 27 Broner is throwing his career away :snoop:
