That wasnt on Ward at all. Chad opened his mouth on live TV after the second Hopkins fight and said he wanted to go down to 168 and fight him. Chad knew what he was getting into.

He can fight the winner of Froch/Kessler II in a rematch strictly for the money and to shut up either Froch and Kessler. Maybe Lucian Bute if he can bounce back with a few strong performances. He could move up to 175 and fight Jean Pascal or Tavoris Cloud if he beats Hopkins, both of those fights are winnable and he'd be the favorite
I dont think he should go down to 160, why should he go down and Sergio Martinez stay at 160? Hell at least Andre has cleaned out 168, Sergio still got plenty of people in his division to fight. 168 is his and he should just wait it out and see what shakes out.

The Light Heavyweight division is trash just like Cruiserweight.Ward should go down to 160, because he's beaten all the decent fighters at Super Middleweight, and all the money is 8 lbs below him. He would have a ton of fighters to fight and it would help him to become more of a household name.
Nobody but Euros fight at Super Middleweight and it is historically probably the weakest division after Cruiserweight
