what's with all this broke shyt? he ain't making millions himself. just cause a blogger or journalist think you gonna lose a fight, they a hater? shyt is crazy with the insecurities of some of these dudes.

This guy is a certified douchebag.
He doesn'r even play it for marketability, he's just a cocky a$$hole :yeshrug:

You'd maybe think all that boes from the crowd made him think to be a more decent person but nah...
Now nobody's watching so he can act like he always does but in the ring the crowd had him :whoa::mjcry:
He backtracked like a mfer, common pictures and everythin now he's back to being a douche :mjlol:

He is no Mayweather though so he will eventually lose and it will be amusing to watch :lolbron:

He goes to 160 isn't he?

Parker's Title Win Celebrated By Burger King - 137K Whoppers Sold

By Edward Chaykovsky

New Zealand has a fast food bonanza in celebration of Joseph Parker's world title win on Saturday night in Aukland.

Parker (22-0, 18KOs) won a twelve round majority decision over previously unbeaten Andy Ruiz (29-1, 19KOs) to capture the vacant WBO heavyweight title at the Vector Arena. In a very close fight, Parker won by scores of 115-113, 115-113 and 114-114.

One of Parker's main sponsors is Burger King New Zealand. The BK company logos are a trademark of Parker fight events.

According to a report by Fairfax media, Burger King - in honor of Parker's victory - held a special promotion the following day where Whoppers were sold for $2 each. The company sold around 137,000 Whoppers between 11am and 5pm. The Burger King in Papatoetoe, Auckland changed their logo to 'Parker King'. Burger King Whoppers in New Zealand are normally sold for $6.55 or $9.50 as part of a combo meal.

There was plenty pre-fight promotion where Parker and his trainer Kevin Barry met with fans at the Burger King on Auckland's Queen Street.

Now Parker has to map out his future for 2017. Up next is possibly a mandatory defense - but the opponent has yet to be determined. The two fighters in the running are Hughie Fury and David Haye. But Haye has signed on to fight Tony Bellew on March 4th and Fury is in active talks to fight WBC world champion Deontay Wilder on a date in February. It could end up where Parker fights neither man and instead makes a voluntary defense of the belt.

Parker was also signed to co-promotional deal with Bob Arum of Top Rank. Arum wants to market and promote Parker in the United States and China. Parker's fight with Ruiz was televised on a delayed basis with HBO.

Now we now what Ruiz was up to after the fight

andrade is in interesting position, had no idea he was #1 in both wbo and wbc rankings. he needs to get busy though. him resigning with artie and banner was something i don't who talked him into that. he was better off going to haymon, or promoter.

He had no business re-upping with them. He should've went to either TR or GB imo

Canelo just won the belt...he gets a voluntary defense first before we can enforce a mandatory on him. Jermell Charlo was supposed to be fighting Hatley, so that's why Andrade went after Culcay.....because beating Culcay makes him mandatory for Lara.

I still don't understand why yall mad that the undefeated, #6 RING (#1 WBC/WBO, & #2 WBA) Junior Middleweight keeps calling out RING #1, #2, #3, #4, & #5 to fight. Andrade vs either of the 5 would be great match ups...especially considering:

  1. RING #1 & #2 won't happen again per #1's own mouth & #1 isn't really interested in fighting anyone except RING #4 again for the $$$
  2. RING #2 has the same trainer as #5 so that won't happen
  3. RING #3 & #5 are brothers so that won't happen
  4. RING #4 ain't really trying to fight anyone with a pulse at 154.

That leaves Andrade as the only one who is willing to step in the ring with the entire Top 5...but he's wrong for calling them out to make great fights:francis:

If this is true, :dead: at Willie Nelson's leftovers get the title shot before the guy who BEAT Willie Nelson.....and Harrison's resume is trash:bryan:

"Bu-bu-but it's Andrade fault, not these guys purposely avoiding Andrade to face people like the Tony Harrison's of the sport:mjcry:"

Ali: Official: 146.75 - Unofficial: 153
Santana: Official: 146.5 - Unofficial: 167
:dwillhuh:

Garicia: Official: 142.25 - Unofficial: 157
Peterson: Official: 143 - Unofficial: 165
that i noticed. Pederson's unofficial was cray. This one too

Cotto: Official: 153.6 - Unofficial: HBO could not get Cotto's weight, which is normal for Cotto.
Geale: Official: 157 - Unofficial: 182 - This is a noteworthy gain and Jim Lampley made special note that it was with Geale's street clothes on, but obviously still massive. Lampley guesses it's more like 175 in boxing gear but that seems a little low for the difference, to me.
