I think he's a solid #2 already, but he needs to beat someone like Crawford (who's prime, undefeated, & considered a Mayweather-lite right now) to get that "aura" back around his name/fights

he deserves it...u see hes blue collar n puts in the work the right way unlike some.

naw but u can easily pay off sanctioning bodies to move u up in rankings or make sure u don't fall too much after a loss.

just like when unknown boxers are magically ranked 7th when they get a title shot but the before that, they are ranked in 256th place... abc bodies are pure fukkery.

Wasn't a gotdamn thing on TV last weekend so why they have to cram every fukking fight into this one? HBO and Showtime should never cannibalize their potential viewer numbers by having cards on the same night.
Its like the promoters/cable networks all deep down hate boxing fans and want to keep the sport as marginalized as possible.

Most likely because last weekend was college football conference championship weekend (even though the games were terrible), and after this weekend, most people arent spending that dough cause Christmas is right around the corner. These promoters/companies are trying to get these fights in so their end of year books look better (or even having to get fighters fights before the year is over. You never know what esculators are in these contracts.)

This weekend does have about 6-10 fights that I would love to see and not all of them are on tv though. As boxing fans, we should be happy there are decent fights to watch, and look forward to a good 2017

Very true. It's quite frustrating because I'm a fan of alot of these 154 nikkas.

When I see some of the fights being made at 154 (ala Lara vs Foreman) I literally go
