I loved what he did to Hatton though. Broke him down mentally & then physically
Hatton's performance is what I thought Manny needed to do vs. Floyd. Use his speed and movement advantage and attack Floyd, force him to be uncomfortable.

Was it Merchant or RJJ (maybe someone else, I forgot who called the fight) said that Hatton made Floyd uncomfortable and took the fight to him, to overcome Floyd had to be great, and he was. For anyone who questions Floyd's heart, he proved it in that fight.

Floyd proved his heart way before that in the championship rounds of the 1st Castillo fight. He knew that shyt was close and chose to bang with dude and score points. A nikka like Lara would have roller skated in them rounds and then bytched about getting robbed afterwards.

Carlos Baldomir Arrested Over Daughter's Sexual Abuse Claim

By Elisinio Castillo

According to multiple sources in Argentina, former welterweight world champion Carlos Baldomir has been arrested over allegations that he sexually abused a minor.

He was arrested by authorities in Buenos Aires, which was confirmed by the local prosecutor.

Baldomir, 45-years-old, won the welterweight world title in 2006 with a shocking upsetofZab Judah. He would move on to knockArturoGatti out, but then lost the title later that year to Floyd Mayweather Jr.Baldomir left professional boxing in 2014. In his career he had 49 wins (19KOs), 16 losses and six draws. He had recently been honored by the National Congress with an award for outstanding athlete.

According to sources, the victim making the claim is his 14-year-old daughter. The alleged abuse is said to have occurred for years until the girl told her mother and an official complaint was filed.

"Tests were made with psychologists, and the story of the child is consistent and reasonable," said the prosecutor, who declined to provide further details because the case involves a minor.

The ex-boxer will be transferred to his native province of Santa Fe, where the crimes were committed, and he will be present before a judge, who will make a determination if there is enough evidence to move forward with the charges.

In 2013, the former athlete had publicly stated - "I made many mistakes in my life, like losing half the money I made in different fights in the casinos. For the game I left my wife and my children. The abandoned them without realizing it. My wife grew tired and I ended up losing her and my kids."
