Daniel Geale and David Lemieux were both ranked Top 5 at Middleweight when GGG beat them.

And if that's the gold standard that's pretty low. I am not a fan that calls someone bums or no talented.....but that's a pretty low bar.

"I don't believe any Junior welterweight in history beats Floyd that night...he was sharp, fast, combination punching, defense was on point, power was there, and his confidence was on 100 for that fight. He was amazing.

He still currently has the best resume at Middleweight vs Middleweights.

Facing opponents and losing don't mean anything.........or you have to believe Darnell Boone has the best resume in the sport today.

So it's cool to be called a killing machine with an undefeated record with no notable win...funny that sounds like Bute 6 years ago. And yes GGG IMHO is better than Bute.

Sad Top Rank:mjcry:

“A lot of fighters in the sport of boxing may want to retire, but they have to fight because they have to,” Mayweather said during a break from promoting the January 14 super-middleweight unification fight between his fighter Badou Jack and Britain’s James DeGale. “I don’t have to fight. I just made $300 million for fighting Pacquiao. I’m OK. Like I said before, I’m happy with my position. Once again, the money don’t make me; I make money. I’m well off. I make smart moves. I’m happy with where my career has went.”

You're supposed to use your Boxing eyes to decide if someone is who they say he is.....what does your eyes tell you about GGG?:mjpls:

Mine show me that no one has come close to beating him, no matter how "average" they are, and even the best of the best get caught slipping sometimes and end up in a tougher than expected fight (i.e. Kovalev/Chilemba)....that doesn't happen with GGG. He dominates every single opponent who's walked in the ring with him, so that (to me) makes him an A fighter bc B fighters cant even compete with him:manny:

I don't use resumes to judge a fighter's abilities or I wouldn't be touting the talent level of Erickson Lubin since his 1st professional fight. I trust my eyes and my eyes say that GGG is an A fighter easily beating up B fighters at Middleweight.:obama:

My eyeball test tells me GGG is dope fighter who has a padded record. He's a silver medalist and has mad credibility...but his pro record deserves more scrutinity than it gets....especially from Dan and HBO.

Stylistically speaking, I rather see Porter vs Canelo. I think the raw aggression vs elite but stationary countering would be entertaining to watch.

Pac vs Porter doesn't excite me. It's not a bad fight, but I think Broner, Thurman, Crawford, Swift, hell even fukking Peterson would all make for better style match ups.

:mjlol: at Froch overrated ass trying to play match maker like he ain't have a chance to fight GGG himself, but backed down instead. nikka is best known for going life and death with damn near anybody that's worth a damn. Ole runner up ass nikka. Didn't even wanna avenge his loss to Ward or make shyt right with Dirrell. He only rematches people he think he can beat. Still don't know how so many experts think he's HOF bound, but then 2nd guess guys like Donaire who was summer jam screening nikkas in the ring. :mindblown:
I tried to keep that garbage in the GGG thread, but I see the hate runs so strong it had to spill back into here.

Froch is an idiot. He cant keep GGG's name out of his mouth. GGG never mentions Froch, it is the media or Abel's dumbass, and every time Froch has to insert himself into the story with the "I would beat him, but I will never fight him" game. As you said, GGG was basically a signed deal after Froch fought Groves, but Froch turned it down.

The tweets by GGG was GGG telling people to stop making false rumors about him and Froch (the latest episode was Loeffler and Hearn "joking" about making the fight. But Froch got his panties in a bunch, for the 1,000th time, so GGG had to tell him to calm his ass down and tell him that for a man who talks so much shyt about being able to beat him, he sure isn't/hasn't tried to ever prove it.

F uck...that is why the other thread was created. These GGG haters are fukking delusional and pull arguments along by a thread to try and qualify it as fact. :mjlol::rudy:

SOG telling Froch " get in the ring with GGG"

"I'd like to see Carl Froch fight Gennady Golovkin," Ward said to Sky Sports. "I heard rumours he may be coming out of retirement.":smugbiden:

I hate seeing my SOG/Canelo brehs jumping out the window everytime someone says something about GGG:sadcam:

Even SOG saying Froch should be fighting GGG instead of trying to pass him off:mjlol:

Also, :pacspit: a Frochy Froch for running his mouth about SOG before retiring and trying to shame him into fighting in Nottingham........where some of yall GGG haters where hating on SOG at the time saying HE should fly to Frochy's backyard. Now yall riding for SOG and got his back?:forreal:

Porter gets smoked by Canelo something awful....Kirkland level KO.

Not even arguing but Froch resume takes a dump all over GGG's.

Kessler 2x
Bute
Dirrell
Taylor
Ward
Groves
Johnson
Pascal
Abraham

And for being the least talented elite fighter I've seen in a long time...only 2 losses....GGG and him ain't even on the same planet on comp level. And everyone was in their prime. No blown up WW's or Rubio's, Praska's or Willie Monroe Jr's or Dominic Wade's. Not 1 soft touch. Anyone telling different is 100% biased. Every single elite guy from Floyd to Froch to Ward says this dude ain't fought a soul.....why can't fans believe that? Anyone saying he ducked GGG after a murderers row like that.....he and his team ALWAYS SAY THEY KO SMW AND LHW fighters in sparring.....but somehow GGG didn't fight ONE of them....and most of them were in Europe with him. He and his team are full of it. And I ain't saying he's better...but Bika has better comp on his resume than GGG.

Bika has

Stevenson
Ward
Bute
Dirrell 2x

Facts.

1st off Porter>>>Inactive Kirkland with a year ring rust and without Wolfe :childplease:

Yeah Froch got a better resume than GGG, but he's not more dominant.

Just like Oscar got a better resume than Floyd, but Floyd was wayyyy more dominant against the nikkas he fought and actually rematched his close fights, something Froch ain't do with Dirrel who he got a bigger hometown gift than Swift did against Herrera (who everyone likes to bring up and shyt on Danny for)

Froch only dominated Bute who we now know ain't shyt. Other than that he goes life and death with everyone else of note and basically wins because he's a lil tougher than his opponent.

Froch is more proven than GGG, true, but he a bytch for trying to play match maker when he already turned down the fight and ducked a Ward rematch his damn self.

When we talking about HOF and skill level, comp only means so much if you dominating them 70% of the time.

nikkas wanna give props for having a bunch of close fights with guys similar to your level, that doesn't impress me like that. Yeah, you took the fight, but you gotta dominate now.

I'm not even trying to talk about GGG like that because their ain't much to say, but if you can't see that Eubanks, BJS, and Canelo ducked him, then there's no reason to even go further.

What's crazy is that if GGG/Froch would have happened and GGG would have won, that would have really aligned that potential fight with Ward. It would have actually looked like it could have happened. You would have had the common opponent storyline and everything. But since nobody wanted it and GGG wasn't going to move up and go straight to Ward, their careers changed directions. Ward went after Krusher and GGG wants Canelo.

As a rule, nikkas that haven't been retired for at least 5 or 6 years shouldn't be talking about who they can beat or etc..because if it's that easy just jump back in the gym and do it.

I agree...especially about the retired fighters.

Frochy Froch always talking about what he would do, but wont leave retirement. He called out Joe Calzaghe over and over again, while 40 Cal was retired, but then acting appalled when K2 is doing the same thing to him:dead:

And also, to clarify even MORE, K2 didn't call him out........Frochy's own promoter said this stuff and said Froch texted him about fighting GGG when Eddie Hearn was with Tom Loeffler just 4 days ago:

But the revelation comes from promoter Eddie Hearn, who met Golovkin’s manager Tom Loeffler at the weekend.

Hearn said: “Tom was joking really but Carl texted me and said, ‘What weight would Golovkin fight me at?’ I said, ‘172lb’ and Loeffler said, ‘170’.

“Carl has got wound up. I know exactly what Loeffler is trying to do and that is entice him out.

“I’m not sure I want to see him fight again — but he is such a competitor.

“That would have been one of the great fights — and it might still be.”

Carl Froch is considering coming out of retirement to face unbeaten middleweight king Gennady Golovkin

But, again, being Frochy Froch, he takes the opportunity to spin the situation as if HE'S being unfairly "picked on" (his own words):camby:
