from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
GGG has been ducked by Sergio, Cotto, and now Canelo.

Yeah, he doesn't have some all star resume or big ppv sells, but he's destroyed everyone he's fought, fills up arenas, gets good tv numbers, got most of the belts at 160, and is somebody that the casuals wanna see Canelo fight.

Why nikkas gotta make that shyt more difficult than it is. GGG has built himself up enough (with the help of HBO) to where he deserves a split and not some jobber flat fee.

You got nikkas in here that were :whoa: when Pac got offered that shyt from Floyd,

but wanna tell GGG not to be on his :feedme: shyt when it happens to him. #ConsistencyCops:sas2:
I was waiting for this :shaq:

Waiting for a nikka to have the audacity to compare gennady "97,000 ppvs" golovkin to Pacquiao..

When Floyd offered that flat fee on 2011, Pacquiao actually outsold him in ppvs that year buddy

If ggg is finding it too difficult to find fights ir accept career high paydays at 160 he needs to go to 168.. cause 168 is ALWAYS an option...

Seems just like yesterday I used to ride with ggg back when the words "anybody from 154-168" was first uttered... I thought we had a real one :snoop:

now here we are comparing the same ppv flop who ducked huge fights at both 155 and 168, who's biggest fight was against a welterweight where he had to go to his hometown, and now we comparing him to the 8 division FOTD ex senator Manny Pacquiao,?? Really breh??

Schaefer & Arum have both came out saying that deal is bogus....but The Coli Promoters believe it's too much $$$ for GGG:mjlol:
In his role as acommentator for ESPN Deportes, JMM said he thought the Canelo offer to GGG was bad and no reason GGG should take it until the talk about a split.

Other boxers and promoters know how much money is to be made in that fight and know that despite $10 million being a lot of money, it isn't shyt compared to what he could get in a split.

It is easy for fans to say shut up and fight...but you have to allow a guy to be fairly paid and they are just enamored with the $10 million offer, but any type of fair split with Canelo getting the lion share still gives GGG more than that.

Well if I recall in the thread a lot of people thought it was close and Cotto actually has a fanbase that cops his ppv soooooo
This.

Revisionist history saying Canelo/Cotto was a bad fight or Cotto was washed or anything of that. Cotto had just mowed down Sergio and flatlined the same dude triple G did in like 4 rounds. He was 'back' with Freddie and was throwing his left hook to perfection. There was a huge thread in here where multiple posters, who's opinions I respect, were choosing Cotto.

All this BS bigger event, what does the public want more doesn't really matter. If triple g/canelo does as well as some of y'all think that's great for boxing, so we all win. Truly, as long as both dudes are properly compensated don't give a fukk how much either makes. The business of boxing is an interesting element to the sport, but not worth more attention than the sport itself. As it stands RN they're both fukk boys for various reasons, and both need to just get in the ring and fight within a year from now. We're about to have a fire ass end of the year and see two fights that are comparable in terms of matchup (kovalev/ward, PBL/Axeman) plus a bunch of other events. If these lames wanna find more reasons not to fight that's on them boxing will survive.

exactly. manny was out here selling 1 mil on ppv WITHOUT floyd. shyt isn't even comparable. manny could fight anybody at that time and do 1 million. little g can't even get on PPV without canelo:CaneLMFAO:.....manny had options, little g does not. and canelo does. canelo can fight danny garcia, thurman, brook, spence and do over 500k on ppv. what can little g do?.....we already know he doesn't wanna move his punk ass up like he's begging canelo to do. canelo holds all the cards right now. little g better accept that career high pay day and shut the fukk up. little g can have the fight done RIGHT NOW, but he refuses to accept the offer. sign the contract, beat canelo, and run shyt in the rematch. calling canelo a businessman, but now look at him:CaneloUMAD:....and chumps still falling for his bullshyt:ShookTales:

I see @Newzz successfully deflected the attention off andrade's punk ass and turned it to canelo.....I see you breh:heh:

I mean...you can't insinuate that Andrade is ducking Lara, when Canelo literally dropped his belt and down a division to run away from GGG:manny:

I still love Canelo, but he ducking:yeshrug:

 At least yall consistent with the dumb shyt yall saying

Yall the same ones that claim $4 million plus upside is a lowball offer for Buscuits when he gets capped at 1.5 with Haymon.. aint never even fought on a ppv undercard and is 1-2 at welterweight...

Advanced casual is when I ask you why does ggg deserve a penny more than a career high $10 million and you reply "bu bu but this could maybe might be possibly the biggest fight in boxing... maybe" " even bigger than Canelo/Cotto maybe" (Zero facts All unprovable hypothetical bullshyt)

:sas1:Oh yea.. how is it bigger than Canelo/Cotto when ggg cant sell more than 97-150k ppv buys on anerican soil for a unification fight being marketed as Hagler/Hearns 2??
":why:bu bu but hbo didn't promote the fight right" "bu but ggg sold out the garden" and my favorite "bu but Pacquiao......"

ggg couldn't hold Pacquiao jock strap.. I dont care how many paper titles he pulls out the garbage can

I don't know the economics of it to say an amount that GGG should take. But I would say they should just agree on a fair split 60-40, 65-35, etc...and both get paid based on the success of the event.

To me that is the most fair when the B-side clearly will influence the buys of the PPV. I don't mind flat fees or a flat fee, plus some incentive when the B-side is just an opponent (like Vargas is for Pacquiao), but when the B-side has a legitimate impact on making the A-side more money, you gotta get paid and a split is usually more fair.
