they shoulda announced craw waa already signed to fight pac next...that would create some buzz...instead nothing but mismatches for both. unlike Garcia/Thurman.

They gonna use Crawford's name to sell Pacquiao's next fight....they scared of Bud's skill level. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Roach would rather walk away, then try and train Crawford for a prime "young Mayweather" as Roach keeps referring to Crawford as.

If Schaef says the deal offered to GGG is a bad deal, it’s a bad deal :manny:

And GGG/Canelo is bigger than GGG/Cotto. Cotto got washed by Mayweather and Pac, it was a big fight but one that Canelo wasn't supposed to lose to a past-prime Cotto.

Schaefer & Arum have both came out saying that deal is bogus....but The Coli Promoters believe it's too much $$$ for GGG:mjlol:

I know u right on this but u don't agree that if a fighter was bigger than may back then, he would have did better ppv numbers with odh?

It depends on who the fighter was...plus it's hypothetical, because no one else at 140-154 was a bigger PPV seller than Floyd....just like (outside of Canelo) there's no one at 154-160 who sells more PPVs than GGG right now:manny:

Floyd's biggest PPV as the A-Side before facing ODLH: 374k
ODLH's biggest PPV as the A-Side before Floyd: 1.4 million.

GGG's biggest PPV as the A-Side before facing Canelo: 150k
Canelo's biggest PPV as the A-Side before GGG: 600k

Floyd got $10 million and PPV upside from ODLH upfront......while Canelo is offering GGG $10 million flat. GGG's numbers are closer to Canelo's than Floyd's were to ODLH's though.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
They cant properly compensate him without ppv upside though breh...you know that's not a fair deal, because without GGG, Canelo will remain in the 300-350 range forever, because his "50,000 tickets sold" don't translate to his PPV buys as the A-side either.

IMO (and where my thoughts on the $$$ comes from) Canelo/GGG will have a larger HBO budget for that fight than the $20 million they had for Cotto/Canelo. It's only right to split the money at a % across the board. 60/40 - 65/35 Canelo.

Theres fighters that would kill to be in the 300k-350 range as far as ppvs go. ggg aint the only fighter that can get him out of that range either.. Canelo dont need ggg... On the flip side ggg would have to fight on ppv 9 times to get what Canelo made against Cotto :mjlol:

Oh I agree there should be PPV backend % breh.

I just wish these dudes would fight though.......like I really don't give a fukk if Canelo makes a billion dollars and triple g makes 900 million or vice versa.
