Lara was WBA "Interim" Champion....Canelo Alvarez was the WBA "Regular" Champion....Floyd was the WBA "Super" Champion.

Floyd beat Canelo and took his Regular belt....Lara was then elevated from "Interim" to "Regular" Champion prior to facing Ishe Smith.

Fam your beef is about Canelo/ggg cool but don't slander Lara(who would be 97g best W) as an opp because of it. I do think Lara gets overrated online but he is a good fighter. You want to use that draw stuff cool but Lara is making the concessions(160) that Golovkin wasn't willing to make in regards to Canelo (155). Which is why I said you can't paint every situation with the same brush.

We agree with Lara facing GGG breh...
I'd like the fight too.

My problem was based on Lara vs Andrade/J Rock.

Lara lost 3 rounds. He won 9-3 or 8-4 he would be lil g best win. He should fight him because right now he is nothing but a hype job

GGG isn't a hype job breh. He's overrated (not the 3rd best fighter pound for pound) imo, but he's legit the best Middleweight.

All it takes is one off night in boxing. All athletes have bad nights. In boxing, you can't put in a substitute if you aren't feeling it that day. You gotta grind it out. Lara isn't the type of guy you want to grind it out against if your not feeling it that day. It's just too risky.

Here's the question you gotta ask yourself? If Lara pulled it off, would you be surprised? If your answer is no, thats the reason the fight won't be made.

Team GGG/HBO have to be 90% certain they are going to win the fight. The priority is Canelo.

They did...but I think Lara would seek a career high payday and then we'll be back to square 1.


He's not going to get $1 million to face GGG unless it was on PPV, this is HBO we talking about here
