Negotiations are going "great", but yet K2 is in talks to fight Chris Eubank Jr and is also talking about facing Billy Joe Saunders, Danny Jacobs, or Gilberto Ramirez and moving on without Canelo:

Negotiations are officially dead in terms of making Alvarez-Golovkin but Loeffler is a realist, while still pursuing that fight, he still has to look for other more realistic options for the time being.

Lemieux can crack, but he's extremely limited as a fighter.

EXTREMELY limited. He has some fast hands and power but other than that, he really isnt that good. cant fight backing up, defense isnt that great either. he kinda reminds me of a bigger Gatti but not as talented. been watchin him for a while. Canadian hype job. Rubio went up there and stopped him in QC. when he picked up that strap I knew GGG camp would be all over him like flies on shyt. dangerous fighter yeah, but overall was view by GGG as "easy" rip because his boxing skills are not up to par. Pretty much only had a punchers chance.

Then after Rubio stopped him, he get outboxed by Joachim Alcine. That was even worse.

That's why I laughed when people tried to big up Lemieux when I stated that Danny Jacobs would be the best fighter GGG has faced in terms of power and skill. He has real power that can test GGG. And some GGG stans would say "well what about Lemieux?" Outside of his power, Lemieux doesn't have much else going for him. You can say what you want about his chin, but Jacobs ain't losing to no fukking Alcine.

I really hope the WBA orders GGG/Jacobs, I have real interest in seeing that
