Even though Trout deserves the match, their are more appealing matches to be made at the time, let Trout fight on Canelo next undercard to get him more exposure

Wladimir Klitschko Opponent Mariusz Wach Reportedly Tests Positive for Steroids | Bleacher Report

Mariusz Wach has tested positive for anabolic steroids following his Nov. 10 loss to WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, according to the German newspaper Bild.

Wach's A-sample has allegedly tested positive, but at this point, his B-sample has yet to be tested.

The Polish fighter is in danger of being suspended and could face heavy fines from the German Boxing Commission and the sanctioning bodies if he is guilty of having used performance-enhancing drugs in the heavyweight title fight.

2012 has certainly been a rough year for boxing, as Wach is now the fifth fighter to test positive for some sort of PED either before or following a major fight.

Other fighters who have tested positive for banned substances this year include current IBF junior welterweight titleholder Lamont Peterson along with former champions Andre Berto, Antonio Tarver and Erik Morales.

It should be noted that neither Peterson, Berto nor Morales were suspended for their infractions or had their licenses revoked.

All three of the previously listed men tested positive for tests administered by either the United States Anti-Doping Agency or the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency, which have no affiliation with any State Commission.

It is looking more and more like these are not isolated instances and that boxing has a serious issue with PEDs.

Canelo needs to improve his footwork though so he can be able to trap Trout more effectively.

It's not that Canelo ain't ready. I think Goldenboy ain't confident in him like that yet. It'll be hard for Trout to win a decision running all night. He'll have to stand and deliver at some point so it kinda goes both ways but I see what you getting at though.

I can't see Berto getting a money fight with Canelo. Berto needs to fight a nikka like Mike Jones and see where he at.

I'm a Cotto stan and I'll tell you that ain't happening.

What we saw on Saturday night is Cotto growing old over night. He looked dreadful from round 7 onwards, Trout will keep it at distance from round 1 this time and could actually earn the lopsided decision he was gifted (the scores were never that wide Adelaide Byrd can eat a bowl of dikks).

I thought Cotto had got over that fading in the late rounds thing but he looked so poor late on, a lot of ineffective aggression against Trout, following him around without throwing/landing anything, fighting in spurts.

Golovkin said he'll happily fight at 154, got Rosado in Jan but i expect him to make light work of him and be ready for a middle of the year fight with any of the top junior middleweights.

Whilst he hasn't exactly been tested you can see him putting a hurting on a lot of people in that division and has a spectacular amateur pedigree beating a few big names in the middle weights like Korobov, Bute and Dirrell.
