Vargas jab was on point N heavy...landing at will on Ali...he threw some good body shots N his power seems to have gotten better...he could give Swift some problems
On the flip side Vargas won't throw a ton of punches, can be out worked, he's a plodder N can be dragged into a brawl
I wanna see Vargas one more time with this new trainer N see how he looks
It could be Ali was just overrated N chinny
Ali was overrated protected trash just like Vargas is.....overrated protected trash.The one time he took a step up he got dominated, save a single good punch.
What problems would he give Swift? Swift times and counters him after 2 rounds. Besides Vargas wants to run it back with BATB and you know how that's gonna go. Now BATB vs Swift would be a good matchup.

I give him props on snatching Ali's cero in KO fashion(the first KD and hurting punch was 90% on Ali though 
). But that's where it stops. His jab was lookin crispy, but he's slower than danny, you know how that goes.I think Vargas can look good against dudes who throw 40 punches a round all off the back foot. But I don't think he's a top 10 ww.

it can be very hard to counter the way vargas throws right hands with a check hook.
b hop was a guy that was very hard to counter with a check hook because when he threw right hands he put his head down. thats how you beat a guy that is trying to come over your right hand with a check hook. you have to try to move your head inside and/or under the check hook.

I am a lefty and growing up seeing myself play sports and paying attention to other lefty's, I always felt like in comparison to natural right hander's us lefty's aren't as coordinated in our other hands as they are.
