This is my card on that fight.
As you can see, outside of the 1st round, Provodnikov fought a guy who had only 1 eye he can see out of and 0 power.....but still went on to lose the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th round on my card.
How does a powerful monster lose 6 of the next 11 rounds to a guy fighting with only 1 eye and no power to detour him

I definitely agree & had a similar scorecard if I remember correctly. For whatever reason he gets into lulls & doesn't move his hands.

i gave the fight to algieri if i remember and i have the fight saved on my hub because i thought it was entertaining...i almost want to rewatch sometime in the near future just to see if that changed

Stop listening to your ATG trainer and refuse to go to the body and head hunt for the rest of the night.
Let a nikka jab and move in front of his hometown and occasionally snap your head back with right hands that send beads of sweat off of you so the judges can see clearly the work you're getting.
Maybe he would have gotten the nod in Russia or some neutral place, but you can't have that type of performance in someone's backyard and expect to win a close one.

Hell, he won 6 rounds AFTER one of his eyes were swole shut in the 1st round. Funny how Provodnikov never calls out Algieri for a rematch
