I'd give Canelo a better shot at beating Floyd than I would Guerrero.

Guerrero has been beaten twice already. He's been outboxed and outmuscled in both of his losses. Dude fights a dirty rough ass fight that will be negated by a decent ref. You don't think Floyd won't put more punches together than Berto did after he starts landing that uppercut on the inside?:usure:

Canelo doesn't have the experience but he has the physical dimensions and the fighting style to trouble Floyd more than Guerrero would. Canelo is a heavy handed combination punching boxer puncher who is in his physical prime. That ain't easy work for any fighter in their mid 30's who's fighting once every other year or so. No sir.

That is by far the biggest (money wise) and most challenging fight out there for Floyd that doesn't involve Martinez and Pac.

That's just my humble opinion though.
Makes sense to me. Although I think Guerrero's chin, his will, and his ring savvy(dirty fighting) will make it an entertaining fight. It won't exactly be Broner/Demarco.

I just want Canelo to take out a legitimate primetime fighter like Cotto before he gets Floyd. I'd honestly also like Guerrero to fight Bradley before fighting Floyd, but if I had the choice I'd throw Guerrero to wolves. Let Canelo build his resume, test his skill and will, and grow as a fighter, so the Floyd fight will be that much better.

Canelo has got about boxed also, and also has had a gift that you can't mysteriously find on the the net these days

Canelo is too square, has absolutely no jab, and no Defense, standing in the middle of the ring his offense looks amateurish, he only throws them blazing combo's when his opponents is on the ropes, Mayweather is simply all wrong for Canlelo, he aint ready Canelo was getting hands laid on him by Lopez before the suspect stoppage.....Let him fight a top 5 154 pounder, shyttt someone in his division first

Guerrero a 4 division champ and a big rangy mauling south paw presents a bigger challenge for Floyd

Truthfully middleweight done started sizzling up enough where you at least got some decent fights that can be made so Martinez can stop calling out Cotto, Pac, and Floyd.

Martinez is a full fledged middleweight now. That nikka ain't dropping below 160 and if he does it'll be Chad Dawson all over again.

Sergio got, Kid Chocolate, Chavez Rematch, Geale, Pirog, GGG as possible fights and if those guys eliminate each other a lil to stand out more than that's better for us the fans cuz we get to see more good fights.
Martinez will get sparked by Chavez, I just cant see how a 40 year old fighter could recover from blowing out his knee at that level with his style and all, him getting put on his ass ruined that Floyd fight for him

His bytch ass is too busy ducking GGG, fukking fraud:snoop:

Guerrero is a english speaking Mexican, it will sell well on Cinco De Mayo

Just cause Manny aint breaking 1 million buys these days, doesn't have shyt to do with Floyd

:whoa::whoa: Are you saying that Guerrero would bring as much money to Floyd as Canelo matchup would?

Remember Floyd only fights once a year and a Canelo fight is a guaranteed 1.4M PPV buys. Which translates into 78 Million.

Imagine the hands Mayweather would Lay on Canelo, there is a reason he has been matched against small one dimensional fighters

Too bad GB has erased almost all of the footage of this ass whipping laid on Canelo:heh:

Lanardo Tyner - YouTube

Tyner is one tough S.O.B. I remember that fight between him and Jessie Vargas. :ohlawd: that fight was dirty as hell but I loved it :russ:

Did I say that I said Floyd Guerrero would outsell the Ginger, all of Mayweather fights do 1 million plus, the Ghost backing his far greater than Ortiz, and that fight did 1.5, with the refunds and all

Who knows how big is Canelo star power if his name was so big he'd have ppvs left and right, instead of being stuck on Floyds under cards. There is a reson after all that shyt of Oscar talking about going head to head vs Chavez Martinez, they put their fight on showtime, if Canelo was as big of a name as they say the Lopez match would have still been ppv. Don't let Oscar brainwash you to believing that he is a PPV draw to justify him getting a Floyd match, when he hasn't done shyt

I don't see Canelo beating Floyd but unlike many I realize that Floyd wants the biggest money fights. A fight with Canelo would mean Floyd makes another guaranteed 30M and he won't have to spend a lot of money on promotion.

A fight with Guerrero needs to be heavily promoted and Guerrero is not bringing many buys or fans. He's called Money Mayweather for a reason.

Floyd is making 50 million regardless these days, his fights sell themselves

Canelo not Lopez sold out the 13k seat MGM Arena.

Guerrero didn't sell out a smaller arena near his home city and against a better opponent.

The so called sold out venue, has already been proved to be ducktales by various boxing sites, there were plenty empty seats and they were giving away tickets

Like I said dont believe Oscar Hype

I guess I gotta just disagree with nikkas, cuz I just don't see how Guerrero is a tougher or bigger more lucrative fight for Floyd than Canelo is.

Nobody wants to see Guerrero talk about his wife for 3 24/7 episodes. Dude would make a shytty commercial if you were to put his highlights together because it consists of a lot of clinching and grappling. He had to basically hold and hit to floor chinny ass Berto :russ: Canelo would have KO'ed that Berto in 5 rounds.

As far as selling tickets are concerned Guerrero ain't selling more than Canelo. I can't believe nikkas actually talking up a Guerrero/Floyd fight. That fight is not interesting at all and Floyd would dominate dude in a lop-sided fashion. I'm done with these dirty fighting southpaws (Ortiz, Guerrero) getting big fights only to muck shyt up in order to win.

I just wish Goldenboy believed in Canelo like they did with Mares and made a decent fight for dude already. He should have already beaten a guy like K9 and be a unified belt holder or something. Even though his career is on training wheels I still believe he'd cause problems for anybody at 154. Dude's improving and is not the same fighter that got buzzed by Cotto's older brother a while back.

If Canelo were to fight before Cinco De Mayo I think that K-9 fight would be great. K-9 isn't a good boxer but he is a dangerous opponent who I believe Canelo would beat.
