i agree with this but there has been mixed success of cruisers going to heavy..for a david haye theres somebody juan carlos gomez
I definitely wouldn't call it "mixed success"...given the small sample size we have with prime "elite" cruisers venturing up...they have more success than failures against top Heavys...
And Gomez could hardly be considered "elite"...he didn't face any of the top cruisers of his era and his resume was dry as hell...i think his best wins outside of the guy he beat for the title were, Imamu Mayfield & Jorge Castro
The same Jorge Castro that lost to a nearly 50 year old Roberto Duran a few years earlier.
He wasn't nowhere near as proven against top cruiserweights or top level opposition period as USS & Huck for instance.
