We had Ruben Guerrero on the podcast last night talking that shyt about Angel.
We played a game with him that gave this scenario.

Your son Robert is going to secure the biggest fight of his career BUT you have to save one of these three people in order for the deal to happen. Would you save Floyd Sr., Angel Garcia, or cut man Rafael Garcia.

He said he'd save Floyd Sr. so Robert could get the deal and he could whoop his ass afterwards.

smh:what:

Unbeaten Crawford, meanwhile, was for a while the frontrunner to land the Pacquiao fight after a sensational performance against Dierry Jean in October. The 2014 Fighter of the Year also campaigned for a Pacquiao fight, and said it could be seen as a "passing of the torch" of sorts.

However, Arum explained that as skilled and exciting Crawford is as a boxer, he still was not a big enough name to merit the Pacquiao fight.

"They (HBO) felt that Crawford wasn't as marketable, because other than people in the boxing industry, people didn't know Crawford well enough," he said.

only you would believe this ridiclous excuse:mjlol:
:ld:
What are you shaking your head at?. Bob Arum would have to cover for crawford somehow if Crawford felt he wasn't ready to rumble with the Pac.. Honestly I think when Floyd issued that open letter to Crawford warning him how dangerous Pacquiao is in the ring Crawford had second thoughts.

Lets all be honest with one another... Did Crawford ever REALLY seem or act like he wanted this fight with Pacquiao?.. I never saw it... Once while asked about a fight with Pac, Crawford was talking bout not even being willing to fight at 147.. saying Pac would just come down to his weight. Does this sound like some shyt someone woulds say who realistically wants to fight Pacquiao??

Is Canelo really asking for 90/10 against lil g?

De La Hoya: If GGG Fight Was Now, Canelo Gets 90-10 Split
By Miguel Rivera

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, explains why a fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin needs the proper time to build up.

Golovkin, who has the WBA/IBO/IBF world titles, is the mandatory challenger to Canelo. The WBC allowed both fighters to have voluntary bouts before facing each other in the fall.

Most fans would like to see the fight on May 7th, when Canelo is scheduled to return.

De La Hoya says if a deal was being negotiated tomorrow, he would request a 90 percent split in favor of his fighter - because his fighter has a proven history to draw against anyone, the ability to sell pay-per-views against anyone, and holds lucrative television and sponsorship agreements.

gennady-golovkin.jpg

Golovkin's pay-per-view debut last year against David Lemieux only sold 150,000 homes, while Canelo went against fighters like Alfredo Angulo and Erislandy Lara and sold 400 thousand and 350 thousand, and his most recent fight with Miguel Cotto did over 900,000 homes. Canelo's 2013 defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr. generated the third highest buyrate in boxing with 2.2 million purchases.

Because of his selling power Canelo is viewed as the number one draw in the sport (behind the soon to be retired Manny Pacquiao).

"If I had my way, if the fight was happening tomorrow, the negotiation would be 90 percent for Canelo and 10 percent for Golovkin, so obviously these negotiations would be complicated [if we did them now], but in time we will sit down and put together this fight, because it's a fight that everyone wants to see, "De La Hoya said to ESPN Deportes.

Golovkin is set to return on April 23rd against an opponent yet to be announced.

GGG hasn't proven to sell anything but T-Shirts, Nachos, and Hot Dogs:yeshrug:

Canelo was only guaranteed $5 million to Floyd's $41.5 million a few years back ( Mayweather vs Canelo purses: Floyd to make $41.5 million guaranteed, Canelo $5 million ) which was an 89-11% split in favor of Floyd....now Canelo is "Floyd" in this equation and GGG is where Canelo was at that time.

Bottomline, #SSShookBoys lost:mjlol:
