@King P

You gonna start up that 2016 Official Predictions Thread breh? We got the 1st fight of 2016 tonight:ehh:

And going off of at least picking 100 fights.....@GREENandYELLOW beat me out for the 2015 Predictions Championship by .01%, breaking my run for a Back to Back Championship:obama:
I'm not going to make it this year as my schedule is hectic right now and it will be impossible to maintain. If somebody else wants to take charge (like @patscorpio) then by all means, feel free

He's definitely been in training camp @Newzz Thurman looking like he's wearin a Black Lives Matter shirt

Im just going off the tweet:manny:

Thurman doesn't blow up in between fights, so I think he's near fighting weight. I just don't think he's in fighting shape, nor has he said anything on his own twitter page of ever being in camp either:yeshrug:

Juan Manuel Marquez says that he would be open to a fight with Miguel Cotto if it is at a weight of 147 with a rehydration limit of 153lbs.

I guess we'll see shortly:ehh:

For our sake though, I hope he has. I don't wanna see him gassing out against Porter due to starting a camp in February and giving himself only 5 weeks to get into fighting shape.

ill fight you for this disrespect :manny:

You not even a Marquez fan breh:heh:

Pacquiao's Adviser Explains Why Tim Bradley Was Selected
By Steve Kim

On April 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao will face Tim Bradley for the third time. Going into this promotion, veteran promoter Bob Arum has said he will not be marketing this as Pacquiao's final fight for fear that 'the Pac Man' may fight on past this date.

But according to Pacquiao's adviser, Mike Koncz,"As it stands at this moment, I can honestly say this is Manny Pacquiao's last fight."

There is plenty of criticism over this match-up, given that there wasn't much public demand for it and the fact that they have already fought twice. Koncz explained to BoxingScene.com:

"We looked at what was the best financial package for Manny and I was dealing directly with Amir Khan. I kept him posted as much as I could. I even let him know what we had to pay Bradley to fight in the hopes that he may become more realistic in his purse.

"And I was even contemplating Adrien Broner but we had to look at everything in a package deal and fortunately - or unfortunately - the best package financially I could get for Manny was a rematch with Bradley."

Bradley beat Pacquiao in a highly controversial decision in 2012 before Pacquiao even the score in a 2014 rematch. The Filipino icon may still face backlash for his rather tepid outing against Floyd Mayweather last year and for the selection of this opponent. But Koncz counters by asking,"Are we gonna get more criticism for Floyd facing Berto on his last fight? I don't think so."

Regardless, Pacquiao-Bradley III will be a tough sell.

But Koncz states,"It's not our fault, we were running out of options on opponents. That's the bottom line. So we can only do the best that we can do and it's not Manny's fault, it's not my fault that possible opponents like Amir - and I give him credit that he realized that there are other people in play and he came down on his demands, which I appreciate and that I'm thankful for - but unfortunately it wasn't enough for us.

"Again, my job is to do the best I can do for Manny and unfortunately whether the fans like it or not, that's in the financial aspect and that's what I did."

When asked if Pacquiao will be fully focused for this upcoming bout, Koncz answered,"I have no reason not to believe that."

So what happened to Crawford in the equation?:shaq2:

And I think this excuse was some BS spin....Bradley was a better financial opportunity than Broner and Khan? Unless he's saying both Broner/Khan would've gotten more than Bradley, so it made sense to pick Bradley instead.

Even sounded like a bunch of bs to me too. Cant complain though.. for the past 6 years I only wanted Pac and Floyd to face each other and EVERYBODY involved finally got the fight to happen so again, no complaints from me.. really wanted to see one of them face Khan.. but fukk Khan

Algieri will make it a really good fight. Definitely a step up for Spence.

I know you and me don't agree on this, but Algieri is really the one guy right now that I don't wanna see Swift fight. Stylistically I hate that fight for Danny :whoa:
Spence should take Chaves. Algieri could def beat Spence, and if was better at blocking left hooks he could beat Swift--too much lateral movement.
