yea I remember I used to browse that forum WAY back. because sohh never had a boxing forum and 90% of the posters didn't even know who floyd mayweather was at the time. sohh/coli getting a boxing forum is the best thing that's ever happened to this community

He couldn't work behind a jab+ (high work rate) because he tires out and gets beaten up in his fights every time he does
He couldn't rely on simply having the better jab because Canelo's defense was better than he expected
Canelo also had the quicker hands which really surprised me

canelo is a guy that throws 4 punches and is exhausted. thats a kind of guy that you can steal rounds from. there were a lot of swing rounds in this fight. cotto could have swung a lot of rounds and took advantage of many of the dead gaps in every round by working a jab to create a contrast to canelo doing nothing. i think he would have had to steal 2 to 3 swing rounds to make it a draw or a win on a lot of cards. i think roach really needed to try to endow some more urgency instead of the everything is ok announcement he was giving to cotto every round. there were a lot of swing rounds that cotto had to try to go out and get but would not.

lmao. even the sohh boxing forum was a little wack at first....because we only had a few real boxing heads with mostly floyd stans. then little by little, more real heads started to join and that weeded out the casuals. they got shook and ran for the hills cause their lack of knowledge on the sport started to get exposed. it's beautiful to see what we've become......I remember when I was considered the number 1 floyd hater.....I used to go to war with floyd stans on the daily....now that we got a good balance, it's nice to be able to appreciate floyd for real. I swear online is the only time i've ever "hated" on floyd. just the other night at the fight party people were like "ay don't say nothing bad about floyd, (reflex) might punch somebody"....I was like :NickYoungWTF:

yeah there were individualized fight card threads mixed with the other sport stuff..sohh boxing heads pretty much convened for the bigger fights on that site..i mentioned before my thread on Khan-Peterson was my 10,000 post on sohh lol

you know what.....low key I wanna see a rematch only because I know it would end in cotto getting knocked the fukk out. his team is asking for it, but I bet anything cotto is like ......the way he went up to canelo after the fight, it looked like he was tellin him "you a beast homie"......no matter what people say, cotto had the look of a man who knew he lost that fight clearly.
