It's too soon for valdez...imma need to see him against someone in the top ten first. I don't know why top rank would be rushing to make this fight right now. Down the line i could see it being big.

I have never been impressed with Badou Jack and think he is highly overrated. Most of his high praise just comes from his association with Floyd imo.
Plus Jack doesn't hit hard enough to stop Jr and his boxing skills are no great shakes either so even a half-ass Jr should be able to get a win especially if he can touch Jack's suspect chin.

JCC vs. Jack would be interesting. It would be JCC's first true 168 lb'er. They only fighter he has fought that he didn't drag up was Fonfara.
Fonfara I could see him not hurting because he is a LHW. I am still interested to see what happens at 168 with JCC's power. His KO ratio at 160 wasn't very good.
Right now I think I would take Jack by decision.
