:wow: I love #Thurminators excuses for Thurman. Im gonna have to put these in my backpocket to use in the future when a situation like this arises with one of my fighters:heh:

We know he doesn't write the contract, no fighter draws up contracts, however, he does have the power to go to Haymon & request that he fights Porter.....same way Shawn Porter did him and same way the Breadman says EVERY PBC fighter can do.

By the fight not being offered to Shawn Porter, the whole "show" Thurman put on...

...was fraudulent. He really DOESNT want the fight, or the Porters would've gotten a response back by now, instead of stone cold silence. Let Swift, AB, or Khan pull this move, and all of a sudden, yall eyes would open to the blatant ducking going on infront of your eyes.

Because yall are blinded by standom, it's not obvious to you:manny:

Really breh? This is totally false. I can upload probably 10 videos/interviews from Thurman running his mouth over June-September alone. AFTER he did the face off with Porter, he went into hiding:sas2:

Maybe he realized Porter was serious about fighting him, because Thurman sure was everywhere running his mouth about fighting Errol Spence, Kell Brook, Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan, & Virgil Hunter.....but all of a sudden, being silent is his normal behavior, ironicially, when it comes to the Keith Thurman vs Shawn Porter fight being mentioned:russ:

Okay breh, you can believe that if you want:heh:

Awwwww man:dead:

I could've swore we slandered Swift when he says "I fight who Haymon wants me to fight", but now that excuse is being used by Thurminators? In regards to the SAME Keith Thurman who says "I have an 0 and I aint afraid to let it go!":jbhmm:

The same Keith Thurman who claimed he was searching for the best fights is now.....cherry picking?:jbhmm:

He cant call Haymon and request a fight with Porter now, he waits for Haymon to bring fights to him?:jbhmm:

Didn't he say this in regards about Khan?

So Thurman disses Khan, calls him a Cherry picker because of the opponents he's faced at 147.....but "Allah Haymon is in charge of those things" right?:jbhmm:

Why would he call Khan a cherry picker if he knows, as you proclaim, that Haymon is the one responsible for your opponents....unless the TRUTH is, he knows, like Bread said, that every PBC fighter picks their own opponent:jbhmm:

Also, and now that it's Shawn Porter who's the one who is ready, and not Khan, they CANT do it tomorrow?:jbhmm:

Okay breh, you can believe that if you want:heh:

I don't know bruh. I still believe Thirman isn't scared & will fight him but we don't know the other side to this. All we're hearing is from the chatty side which is Kenny Porter who take take anything he says with a grain of salt.

If I had to speculate I would think money is holding this fight back. 2 top rated guys in the division & they both wanna get paid accordingly more than likely. Since this is the end of the year maybe the money pot isn't as big as it would be for early 2016? Hats why I haven't blasted Thurman just yet because I wanna hear what he or his team have to say.

***Edit****

Just saw he tweet post & of course the hold up is money for Thurman. I wonder how much he's asking for. This fight should be career paydays for both but I wonder

Raging Babe (@RagingBabe) on Twitter is constantly stating that the fight is being held off because of Thurman's hefty financial demands.

She hasn't once mentioned Shawn Porter as the reason the fight hasn't been finalized.

Why yall keep blaming Kenny Porter, when Im going off of Raging Babe's info, I don't know:manny:

Errol Spence-Alejandro Barrera on November 28, PBC

Posted by: Random Hits on 10/29/2015 .

DALLAS - Super welterweight world champion Jermall Charlo (22-0, 17 KOs) will defend his title in his home state against "Silky" Wilky Campfort (21-1, 12 KOs) as Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC comes to The Bomb Factory in Dallas Saturday, November 28. Televised coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.

Also featured, Dallas-native and 2012 Olympian Errol "The Truth" Spence Jr. (18-0, 15 KOs) takes on Mexico's Alejandro "El Elegido" Barrera (28-2, 18 KOs) in a 12-round contest.

"I haven't stepped out of the gym since I won the title," said Charlo. "You get the title, you defend it. That's the motto. I know Campfort is hungry and at the top of his game, but I've been training just as hard, if not harder, to defend my title. It took everything I have to get here and it's going to take everything I have to remain here."

"I am ready to fight," said Campfort. "I am not in this business to run. I'm not afraif of anybody. I'm coming to win a world title and achieve my dream. Charlo better not underestimate me, because I have only victory on my mind."

"I'm excited for another opportunity to prove that I'm the real deal and I'm ready for any gut that's put in front of me," said Spence Jr. "This will be my first time fighting in my hometown and I'm ready to put on a show for Dallas. November 28, it's going to be another man down."

"This is a great opportunity to showcase my skills on a big stage," said Barrera. "I am always in great shape and I plan on giving the fans a great fight. November 28 I will announce myself to the world with a great performance."

The November 28 event features two rising stars in the sport, both from Texas as they showcase their skills on Thanksgiving weekend. The undefeated Charlo will be defending his world title for the first time while the undefeated Spence Jr. looks to make another impressive statement in his young career that has many calling him a future world champion.

Tickets for the live event, which is promoted by Leija*Battah Promotions, are priced at $100, $85, $45 and $25, not including applicable fees, and are on sale now. A newly crowned champion at 24-years-old, Charlo grabbed his title with a dominant third-round stoppage of Cornelius Bundrage in September. Residing in Houston, Charlo fights in his home state for the first time since a 2013 stoppage of Orlando Lora. Charlo built up his resume in 2014 with dominant victories over Hector Munoz, Norberto Gonzalez and Lenny Bottai before shutting out Michael Finney in March leading up to his world title fight.

Born in Haiti but fighting out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Campfort has not lost since his second pro fight in 2009. The 30-year-old has fought professionally in the U.S., Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic and his native-Haiti. He's won six fights since the beginning of 2014 including stoppages of Milton Nunez and Devon Moncrieffe. In his last contest he stopped Ronald Montes in the second round on September 18.

A member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team who boasted a highly decorated amateur career, the 25-year-old Spence Jr.will look to put on a show in front of his hometown Dallas crowd. Spence Jr. is widely regarded as one of the top rising prospects in the sport and was dominant in his PBC debut on April 11 as he defeated Samuel Vargas by fourth-round knockout and he followed that up by stopping Phil Lo Greco in the third round on June 20. Most recently, Spence Jr. recorded a flawless performance in his win over South African Chris van Heerden with an eighth-round stoppage on September 11.

Fighting out of Monterrey, Mexico, Barrera will be fighting in the U.S. for the second time in his career after picking up a victory over John Mackey in 2012. The 29-year-old won his first 20 bouts after turning pro in 2007 and enters this fight with three straight victories including triumphs over Juan Montiel and Jose De Jesus Macias in 2015.

Would've preferred to see him vs someone who's actually on his level or slightly above/below. Both of these fights most likely will end in KO:manny:

Gary Russell: I Want Leo Santa Cruz, Selby or Mares Next

Posted by: Carlos Boogs on 10/29/2015 .

By Carlos Boogs

Gary Russell Jr. (26-1, 15 KOs) is looking to start off 2016 in a very big way. Before he can get to that point, he must return his WBC featherweight championship on November 14.

Russell will make his first defense against Colombia's Oscar Escandón (24-2, 16 KOs) in the main event of Showtime televised card from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

If Russell is victorious, he wants to face WBA champion Leo Santa Cruz, IBF champion Lee Selby or even Abner Mares next.

Russell and all three of his potential targets are managed by Al Haymon and fight under the Premier Boxing Champions umbrella.

"If I get past Escandon I would love to fight Leo Santa Cruz, we fought in the amateurs. But we never underestimate any opponent and we are focused on getting this fight out of the way first. Lee Selby is another guy that we're looking at. Of course Abner Mares, even though he lost, would be a great fight. These are the type of guys that we'd like to fight," Russell said.

Russell is not expecting an easy night with Escandon, who has something to prove after losing a close split decision in his last fight to Moises Flores in April. Russell on the other hand has been on a roll since suffering his first career defeat last year to Vasyl Lomachenko.

Russell will stay defensive, use his speed and stick to his game plan of outboxing Escandon to a decision or a knockout victory.

"Oscar Escandon is strong and durable. He comes straight forward. If his corner was smart they would try to take away my hand speed which will be a big factor in the fight. He'll need to close the distance, smother my punches so speed isn't a factor," Russell said.

"I know that I will be victorious without a doubt. Anyone that you get in the ring with these small, 8-ounce gloves always has a possibility of creating an upset whether he's a big puncher or not. It only takes one shot. It's the fighters' job to take away that opportunity."

Abner Mares responds:

Let's see if GRJ really wants it now:ehh:

But there have been other reports about the fight that don't agree with this chick's tweets. Michael Woods has been consistently saying it isn't about money and that PBC wants the fight to be the kickoff for their fight schedule in 2016.
