They about to discuss should Floyd Mayweather Jr fight Gennady Golovkin on First Take.

I have already said yes to that in here.

If Golovkin can make 154, and Floyd does return to Boxing, he should defend his Junior Middleweight Championships against Golovkin.....or he should drop/be stripped of his WBA & WBC belts which he hasn't defended in over 2 years already (September 2013 was the last time)

I'm gonna say no. Only becuz it's not something I'm interested in seeing. People wanna call Floyd the greatest ever or of this generation, that's fine. But the way he fought against Manny and Chino the 2nd time was a joke and I'm just not interested in seeing him do that again.

Did this nikka :comeon: just say Andre Ward is scared of GGG?:dahell:

Maybe I heard that wrong:usure:

I have never heard SAS and Skip discuss boxing. The lack of knowledge is outstanding:heh:
Them cats have shown time and time again that they don't know shyt about boxing. Especially :skip:

I still hold a grudge against Skip for his lack of boxing knowledge. Because of him I had to applaud Dan Rafael, and Lord knows I hate having to give that fat tub of lard any props whatsoever :comeon:

Jermall Charlo (22-0-17 KO’s) coming off the biggest fight of his career, a knockout win against Cornelius “K9” Bundrage for the IBF Junior Middleweight champion of the world. He is now the target of plenty contenders in a stacked middleweight and junior middleweight division. Thaboxingvoice’s own Mario Mungia caught up with the newly crowned champ to discuss his plans for his future in the ring.

In a boxing climate where fans are always looking for the next fight, Charlo is only as good as his next fight. So we asked what is on the horizon for the champion especially when it seems like a few fighters are calling him out, i.e., Demetrius Andrade and Julian “J-Rock” Williams.

“I have the title everyone is looking for the title” says Charlo, “I was once those guys looking for a title, but Demetrius don’t have anything, but yeah that’ll be a good fight, I think a Julian Williams or Austin Trout would be good fights, I feel like I’m very slept on in the division but I got the title so they would find out soon”.

Charlie, who made quick work of K9 Bundrage in September, is rumored to have another fight coming up before the year’s end; we asked Jermall to reveal if there is any truth to these rumors. “Yea sure I told my manager Al Haymon to get me another fight before the year’s over, I’m still waiting for the opponent, but I’m ready to take another big fight,” says the champ Charlo. He continued “I’m trying to defend my title soon I’m not running from nobody, I’m a Lion I’m here to stay I’m in 12 round shape right now whoever they want me to fight Ima fight em” he reiterates “I’m not dodging anybody!”

So look out for Charlo in the near future defending his title for the first time, whether it’s a credible or competitive opponent or not is yet to be seen. Demetrius Andrade (22-0, 15 KOs) stopped Argentinian Dario Fabian Pucheta (20-3) at the 50-second mark of the second round Saturday night October 17th at Mohegan Sun Arena to capture the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) International Junior Middleweight Title in the main event. Julian Williams is currently free as well as Austin Trout it seems like stars are aligning for one of these big matchups to happen soon.

Im watching and SAS out here claiming GGG would basically destroy Floyd and Floyd would get hurt:mjlol:

Skip saying GGG is too slow of foot/hand and Floyd has longer reach and is the GOAT defensive fighter:ehh: Says, Floyd would beat GGG by UD and easily:obama:

I agree with Skip and would love see Floyd get to 50-0 by embarrassing the Media's Darling of Boxing.....and retire again:banderas:

I've heard :comeon: try to talk boxing on quite a few occasions and it's the worst thing he could possibly do. I've only heard :skip: talk about Manny.

So I'm not surprised that he would utter something as stupid as SOG being scared of Little G. Everyone in the boxing world with the exception of Abel Sanchez thinks that SOG would pond Little G.

I've always said that if Little G catches Floyd with a flush shot like Chino and Shane did, he'd go down. But I also see Floyd using the fukk outta the ring which is why I have no interest in seeing this fight.

That's not out of the realm of possibility :manny:

And that's no disrespect to Floyd, because he's 1000x the fighter Golovkin is. But physically, GGG is the much bigger man. Weight classes exist for a reason you know :porter:

@Newzz This is an example of Skip not knowing what the fukk he's talking about

This video is from when the Mayweather/Canelo fight was 1st announce. (At 4:45) He tries to educate the viewers who don't know much about catchweights what it means. Says that when a catchweight is agreed upon, you're not allowed to go over that designated weight, even after the weigh in :heh:

Then the day before the actual fight, Dan Rafael comes (4:00) on and tells Skip that there is no controversy with the catchweight, he just doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to how weigh ins work. Skip of course tries to deny saying what he said. Dude was on his Master Teacher shyt :dead:

This...there are plenty examples of fighters going too high and paying for it

This is why I'm not interested in this fight because GGG has not fought at all at 154 to my knowledge and Floyd has not proven at all or show interest to compete at 160

I blame the Ref not stepping in sooner, but we all know Montell was doing the acting job, then acted like he was winning the fight before the stoppage, then talking all that smack until the rematch. We saw what happened in the rematch though. :blessed:

Floyd would put a rehydration clause on it. Probably a 10lb rehydration clause.
