I just heard a story about Brandon Rios from someone I work with. My coworker worked at Top Rank for 10 years & said Rios was always a clown disrespecting other fighters & trying to get under their skin prefight. You notice he didn't do that with Alvarado? He said Alvarado was known as a live wire at Top Rank & among boxers & would probably smash a chair over his head for some of his antics. Told me some crazy stories about Alvarado & some of the Top Rank stable.

He said Chico Corrales was probably the most natural boxer he'd ever saw. He didn't train as hard as he should've & smoked like a chimney. He said if he lived a more disciplined life he wouldn't have taken as many L's as he did
The real L's came after that first JLC fight though...i don't think physically Chico had anything left as a fighter after that

Me mentioned the Shane Mosley vs Zab Judah fight that was supposed to happen.
He said Zab was being lazy & didn't wanna train or spar on a certain day & Yoel started punking him in front of everybody calling him a pu$$y. That's when Zab decided to punch a hole through a glass door & killed the fight because he got injured

I definitely agree with you & from what he said Chico didn't take care of his body at all. So all that damage from the JLC fight really did him in
