I might have to apply for #HammerHeads memebership breh :jbhmm:

Was just rewatching that Council fight, that power :wow:

I really like the kid and Im looking for more young fighters to follow. Spence is coming along nicely bout to make that leap to champion soon. Im really looking for Mazion to step up in competition soon
that kid could be really special.

Come join the team breh:obama:

Lubin is only 19, a lefty, who's 6'0 (and he can still grow being he's only 19) with a 76 inch reach, power, speed, already has the technical skills down and improving every time out....he's The Phenom:banderas:

Plus, he has big ambitions to win a title in every division from Welterweight (even though he's currently at 154) through Heavyweight:ohlawd:

Few Hammer quotes:

"My manager and my team picks the opponents, and I respect their decisions. I make sure I stay ready to fight anybody."

"I like to please the fans, but also I like to be smart. I like for my opponents to run into big shots. I'm just not going to automatically sit there and trade. You have to hit him and not let him hit you. That's what I try to do most of the time."

"I'm just here to fight and make a name for myself."

"I'll be going back down to welterweight, probably in a few more fights. But I'm truly comfortable right now at 154. In the long run, I can see myself at 160. I might even go up to 175 or heavyweight, too, and capture those titles."

"I say I'm a boxer-puncher. I know how to reel people in and pull them into big shots."

“All my losses in the amateurs were my worst nights as a fighter, I hate to lose. (went 143-7 as an amateur)”

“I’m a boxer-puncher. I fight when I have to fight, but I box when it’s time to box. I’m aggressive but I’m well aware of my defense. I’m able to be defensive at the same time I let my hands go.”

“My brother (Michael Louis, who had a 10-1 (9) record after a brief pro career from 2008-2009) used to come home from the gym to teach me moves when I was just 4 years old. It sunk in because when I was old enough to go the gym, I already knew what to do. I had my first amateur bout at eight years old and I knew boxing was something I wanted to do seriously. Even as a kid, I always sparred with bigger kids in the gym and when I made them cry I said to myself ‘Wow, I got what it takes.’”

Comments Thread For: 50 Cent on Fighting Mayweather: He Won't Kick My Ass! - Page 3 - Boxing Forum

a og cuban boxer who lives in mexico city and worked with Jose soliman... he dont post much but had some good stories... found some on floyd.

As god is my witness I have personally seen Floyd spar a professional Cruiserweight who was talking a lot and Floyd got the better of him,
Curtis will get his ass kicked

It was about 11 years ago at Top Rank gym in Las Vegas, this boxer came in to spar Kelly Pavlik but the boxer was late and Kelly had already finished his work in the ring and Floyd was there watching his boxer spar I think Floyd just got back from playing basketball but he was not there to work out.

So this Crusier weight started talking loud how he wanted to get and the ring and do this and that so Floyd told his groupie to go to his car and get his gear, his groupie came back Floyd geared up got in the ring and proceeded to walk his man down.

Let me define my definition of "walked him down" he stayed in his chest taking small steps forward rolling the hooks from the Cruiserweight and negating the other mans reach advantage not allowing the other man to use his jab
And throwing fast accurate shots in return that the other man could not stop

I don't care who believes me or not I was just relaying something that I have seen that is all, and it is good that you know what Floyd does in the gym anyone in the game knows you do not always spar the way you fight a professional fight, and at the time Floyd's style was exactly that to walk his man down and as for the other guys name I could not tell, I don't take names at the door.

Why do people think NFL players should be American Heavyweights ? - Page 7 - Boxing Forum

It is true, i was in Top Rank the day after it happened and there were blood stains all over the floor and i asked Richie Sandoval (who Bob Arum gave a job for life working at the Top Rank gym) what happened and he told me 4 or 5 guys with guns came into the gym while Floyd was doing a late night work out and pistol whipped Ellerbe and that loud mouth Tomas who was originally part of Hasim Rahmans camp. and no Prince did not knock out Floyd he was not even there and the guys with the guns did not touch anyone else. and for a year after that they always kept the doors to the gym locked, you had to ring the door bell to be let in

There is really no story to tell except a long time ago when Floyd jr first dropped Floyd sr as a trainer i was working out at Top Rank gym and Rodger was there every day also and whenever Floyd sr came in Rodger would always get really quite and go to the other side of the gym, the first time i saw it i was shocked to how submissive Rodger would get because it is the total opposite of what he is. They have been brothers a long time and they obviously both know who wins that fight

ive read some stories of him sparring in ikes, tuas and wlads camp.

he siad that u cant escape wlads jab and if u sleep on his right u were going to sleep.

that tua just had a decent left hook, he seen better... if u had a good not great chin u will be right there with him all night.

that ike would do strange things.

honestly no. larry is a good dude, but we got alot of guys like him already. if im gonna ask someone to come its gonna be someone who i feel can REALLY contribute. its not that i think hes dumb or anything, but guys like him and burner are really not that knowledgeable outside of mayweather.

one thing about larry is that he a real nikka and a big nikka, them cacs and asians were bad mouthing him not realizing when he showed who he was he was not the nikka to fukk with.
remember when some cat was calling him out cuz he was saying he was in larry city and larry tells him to pull up next to the green box.

someone earth googles the address and the address he gave him there was a green box :russ:

larry won that day.... reason i wouldnt mind some of the people i mentioned to come over here is cuz the racism can be heavy towards them... they probably dont know a place where they can talk boxing without it... plus i noticed they into other sports too like nfl and nba.

Mayweather announcing his retirement to duck Khan, hoping Pacman does the job for him :leon:

Really wanted to see that Floyd/Khan though.

Also, you have to say despite all talks of conflict of interest today is really the day The Ring lost some of its credibility, then again p4p is absolutely worthless. But still a sad show of bias. Kell fukkin Brook ay

you know what, ima let larry know to come here. hes a good dude, im just not big on his boxing knowledge im not gonna lie, but hes a good dude. nikkas thought he was playing, he wasnt. larry might be a little obessive about floyd but hes no less obessive than these fukking drake stans in the booth. ima get at him. hes black. hes welcomed here.

@Newzz

real talk, i been on boxingscene since i was still in the military this is my profile here and i seriously got burned out on talking about, that place really jaded my opinion on boxing forums as a whole. imagine arguing in mayweathers favor for literally LITERALLY 10 YEARS. i watched mayweather go from loved contender to p4p king, to the most hated man in the entire sports world and i was by his side the whole time no homo. I found boxing forums to be some of the most racist, hate filled garbage ass forums i had ever seen. when pacquiao rose to fame in 2009 is when it hit an all time low. its a big reason why i dont spend much time in the ring, not because i dont watch the sport, but go look at my post history i spent A LONG TIME on that forum. A LONG TIME.

The one good thing about that place is that you had some SERIOUS knowledgeable posters on there, seriously, you had guys who knew the sport in and out like crazy, @Knicksman20 was a guy i actually brought here from there. There was a guy on there named 'Silencers" and another guy named "TheGreatA' I mean those guy had knowledge and could see shyt i couldnt see their historical knoweldge of the sport was incredible. You had old timers posting there that sadly died but they knew the sport because they witnessed alot of shyt first hand. But they dont post anymore. Only guy who really knows his shyt and still posts from the old era is a guy named IMDAZED who is a master pacquiao troll and beats them at their own game and hes black so he sees through all the BS and you can tell hes highly educated. But thats why i hardly ever post. I have literally thousands of hours of fight footage on deck, but i just dont have the energy to talk about it like i used to. Boxingscene scarred me for life.

thats me

Lets start a boxing podcast you prick.

edit: Thats where I started talking boxing too. I dont think the sohh boxing thread was ever 1. as good as this 2. as big as this.

That forum was awful though, it was all pac and floyd threads. I wish they really cracked down on that stupid shyt so I could get some gems from historians, but it was a fukking bytch to navigate through.

edit 2: Reddit boxing is as stupid as boxing scene. Its damn near the same people I would guess.

Floyd cherry picks/ducks
Manny woulda beaten him at his prime
Bunch of Kohn nut huggers too.
and the biggest GGG cocksuckers Ive ever seen.

i heard rumblings for whatever reason last week but no one really spoke on it.

but who would have won if lewis n W.klitchko fought in 02-04?

Lewis would've KOd him....within 6 rounds at that.

Wladimir was nowhere near as good as he is now, and never as good as Vitali (who's the TRUE best Heavyweight since Lewis imo). He didnt have the mindset to defeat Lennox Lewis during that time period.

the sohh boxing thread wasn't as focused as this one but the individual fight card threads that popped up were gold..my 10000th post on there was when I created the thread for khan-peterson
