PBC on ESPN is the replacement for ESPN FNF...not PBC in general:francis:

Just like PBC on Fox Sports 1 is the replacement for their fights. I'm not expecting elite fights on those networks and neither should yall, since you never did before when Boxing was on there before PBC:ufdup:

Only difference is that we won't be getting random matchups like James Taylor (12-0) vs Nick Wilson (9-2), but instead better matchups like Dominic Braezeale vs Fred Kassi with higher quality fighters appearing on the shows

but that will still be fnf quality .......thats what fnf is...two underrated unknown fighters that have a surprisingly good scrap.

we need general sat night pbc to have thurman vs porter....garcia vs broner.....brook vs maidana.....the big names or shyt won't feel right n it won't be any use for sat night fights if its not gonna be an epic event..............

thats my only criticism of al for now.

I don't understand these nyggas. They would really rather go back to the days of waiting for sho/hbo/fnf instead of getting more boxing on tv because they expect ppv quality main fights for every single card. Shyt is laughable

Almost...then we get Thurman vs Collazo, Garcia vs Malignaggi, Alexander vs Martinez thrown in which makes it superior to FNF imo, because we still getting to see top fighters apply their skill on a random Wednesday night. We would never get that on FNF:yeshrug:

I'm all about seeing the best fight 3-4x a year, and PBC on ESPN/PBC on Fox Sports 1/PBC on Spike TV will be where we see top fighters vs lesser opponents (kinda like WWF/WCW on Saturday mornings/evenings as a kid) and the bigger matchups will be saved for PBC on NBC/CBS.

I'm good with that myself:manny:

I said it's a better matchup...which imo, it is. I never really cared for FNF main events that much, because the fighters were usually unknown C level fighters. With PBC on ESPN, I'm gonna get name brand C level fighters at minimum:yeshrug:

So because these 2 are somewhat known it makes it a good fight instead of looking at their previous fights :skip:..this is unbelievably stannish..you're better than this..every fighter has been unknown

For sake of argument (due to my battery getting low on my phone), yes Dominic Braezeale vs Fred Kassi is a better matchup than every single matchup of the Boxcino tournament they showed at the end.

Why you ask? Because I know both fighters and it's more enjoyable, for me, to watch C level fighters I know than C level fighters I do not know. If you disagree, thats fine...you can still watch TR's Boxing matches on TruTV, or the Golden Boy fights that come on for your dose of weekly random bums (more than not they bums:yeshrug:) that FNF now being gone will deprive you of lol

Also, PBC on ESPN's first 3 shows alone have been better than the entire FNF 2014 season imo...and I believe that will be the case for as long as PBC on ESPN continues.

the best fight in PBC so far and overall this year featured an unknown fighter unless you watch polish fights on a stream and/or pay attention to the CWs and a fighter who was a champ largely unknown to US boxing audiences/casuals...so that makes no sense to me what you just said. you like the concept of PBC..me i know too much about these fighters to drink the kool aid and i know if im getting something legit or some bullshyt..so its a card by card basis...pbc has a way to go to make me think im getting something extraordinary than what FNF was...quality vs quantity..speaking of TruTv..they do have a card going against superman-karpency this friday..i have a feeling the better fight of the night will be on that card then on the PBC card and i know the fighters on that TruTv card too.

I knew who Marco Huck was breh, the person he fought I did not. And it makes sense, because I enjoy fights that involve fighters that I know > watching unknown random fighters. Im not watching TruTV unless Gilberto Ramirez, Jesse Hart, or someone from TR that I know is participating on the card. It's the same reason that I dont watch ShoBox unless it's featuring someone that I've heard of on the card. Im not entertained watching a card full of generic C & D level fighters who I have never heard of or I would go to some of these local cards around Ohio....but maybe you do. Only time I run across young fighters that I may start to like is if they are on the undercard of a name fighter's show or I heard about them via word of mouth/press. I have & will never watch a card full of no-name fighters. I have to know something about the fighters in order to garner interest in watching them:yeshrug:

And for the record, my personal best PBC fight thus far was Warren vs Payano...and the best fight of the year period was Pascal/Gonzales:mjpls:

The quality of the 3 PBC on ESPN shows in 2015 thus far has already surpassed the entire 2014 year of FNF schedule imo. It's not even a question to me.

Well, you enjoy that:salute:

*edit*

I will be too now that I looked at their card:obama:
