He was still green and still was beating top competition,, he's in prime form now showing little respect to his opponents, and is fully committing to those wicked shots, theres power, and theres one punch fight changing power, and Garcia has the latter, and he's getting better drastically each fight, very educated with his punches, advanced understanding levels, and showing his opponents different speeds with punches rather than someone like Khan fighting out of one gear, he's also very deceptive speed he lulls his opponents to sleep with his movements then pulls quick vicious shots out of his ass. One of the most destructive counter punchers I seen in a long time


Garcia is elite, everybody at 140 is a few levels below him, real talk, LM is good, but he's just a one dimensional take 2 shots to land his one plodder, he's waiting to get exposed

Although, Him being elite at 140 speaks volumes about that weight class... Ive seen 3 of his fights already, and other than punching power, i'm just not impressed.. His footwork is awful and that's what he requires based off his fighting style to be considered elite in my eyes

of course khan was a live body..he was a champ and he was losing that fight until he landed that wild left hook....matthysse has his victories over harris, corley, soto, and ajose....the first two were passed it but at least he took them out...but between him and matthysse khan is the only high profile win but matthysse has faced better competition though

That's the thing with Garcia he always looks beatable as fukk but finds a way to win. He needs to improve on a lot of things like his footwork as well as his defense.

Honestly he's at his best when he boxes more aggressively. It was pitiful seeing him get outboxed in spots by Morales in the 1st fight as well as in the **** fight because he was relying a lil too much on countering during exchanges instead of just forcing the exchanges.

I think a fight with him and LM is a 50/50 but if I were to pick a winner I'd lean toward Lucus who improved his style over the last couple fights.

So Yuri Gamboa hasn't fought in over a year, and will obviously not be fighting in 2012 at all.

fukk is up with his promotion situation?

gamboa fukked it up himself by listening to the wrong nikkkas. he should have just finished his contract out with top rank and taken the bam bam fight.

i like bam bam and all but if gamboa wouldve taken that fight at 135 back in april, bam bam would have gotten beaten alive.

the money team aint here to help his ass now that he can't get a fight. wouldn't surprise me if he went back to top rank.
