He couldnt make a Pacquiao-Rios fight now, especially after how sh*tty Rios looked in his "win" against Abril.
Making that fight would be perfect provided if Rios beat Alvarado (which he wont)

So Pacquiao looked shytty in his last 3 fights, if he wanted to build the Manny hype train back, feed him the one dimensional Rios who would make him look prime and spectacular once again. Arum obviously is thinking somewhat on my train of thinking, but Manny can't risk another shytty ppv sales wise

Arum isnt stupid, he knows boxing fans would got apes**t if he tried to put Brandon Rios in with Pacquiao after the Abril fight. Pacquiao looked bad in his last couple fights but Rios basically lost that fight and got outclassed for 12 rounds.
No way in hell could he try to pull that one off. I get what you say as Rios is a tailor made opponenet for Pacquiao, but with Rios coming off that Abril performance it would've been impossible for Arum to try and make that fight
