So on average they had 21.12% more viewers while having roughly 25% more customers? I don't see how anyone would act like those numbers are truly a win but hey some people will feed into their agendas.

Their agenda like Showtime is to get ratings. While Floyd going to Showtime helped their PPV business (or did it?), I'm not so sure in the long run it brought in a load of subscribers like many thought it would. Both HBO and Showtime took hits this year, but HBO "seems" to have the upside going into 2015.
