When talking about Froch's HOF probability, @patscorpio said JCC wasn't elite and I responded with no, he isn't. Ward is the only elite SMW (which is what Froch needs to beat at least 1 elite fighter to be a more deserving HOFer from pat's perspective) and being that Froch knows he can't beat Ward, he's just angling for the biggest name available.

You really think Froch wouldn't fight Ward if he KNEW he could beat him? Instead he has to deal with fact he lost convincingly to Ward, who beat him with 1 hand.

Not only is Banks Wladimir's Chief trainer, he's also his #1 Goon. Wladimir views himself as a final Boss similar to a video game. It's the reason he wears Boss on his trunks. He's assigned Banks as the guy you have to get through to get consideration for a Klitchsko fight. There probably is some interest in Tarver from K2. He's willing to sell a fight, hasn't lost in 5 years, etc. Probably would make an okay busy fight.

I like Briggs-Banks. Only concern I have is I believe Banks would throw the fight to make Klitchko-Briggs even more interesting. Don't care what anyone says, I believe he threw the 2nd Mitchell fight. He fought as if he was scared to hurt the guy.

1st round, talk about being SHOT! Castillo has nothing on his punches. Ruslan putting the pressure on him and landed to big left hooks and 2 right hands when castillo was on the ropes. one of the right hands in the last minute look like it hurt castillo.
