yeah & it's just a bad stylistic match up for him. It's just the way Nonito fights. It's not gonna work against a really good black fighter & I've felt that way for years. He actually looked good last night & the power was definitely there, but it just wasn't gonna work out for him. Although he's a master of cutting weight, I don't think it's necessary. Nothing wrong with fighting guys your own size.

I feel that way about black fighters too. I'll be like "okay you need to fight a black fighter." Let's take Broner's last fight for example. I knew he was gonna have trouble because he's never really fought a solid black fighter.

What is this black fighter sheit?

What does that mean?

I think he mean slick fighters

Most black gyms teach that style.

The gym I go to has a black trainer and Hispanic. When I work with the black guy, he has me bounce on my toes and moving my head.

The spanish trainer makes me anchor down and come forward swinging.

finally got around to watching nonito vs walters...that shyt reminded me of gamboa vs. crawford.

Smaller guy holding his own in the earlier rounds, but then ultimately being overpowered by the bigger man while going out swinging.

:camby:like every black fighter is elite....like raushee warren going to fukk up nonito or sum shyt:rudy:

Emmanuel Taylor is not top notch, hes an ok fighter.

If you meant an Elite slick black boxer then I can see where you coming from..

And not every black fighter fights that style anyway:yeshrug:

Your creating an argument out of nothing
i never said every black fighter is elite :mjlol:.

Not just any black fighter is gonna go in & fukk Nonito up. I said a really good black fighter could, which has happened twice.

I don't think a slick black fighter even has to be an elite "A" level fighter to beat Nonito though.

First of all, I don't rate Nonito as an "A" level fighter, but let's say he is. A "B" level fighter can beat an "A" fighter if they have the right style. A "C" level fighter should never be able to beat an "A" fighter even if they have the style, but a "B" fighter can has more talent to pull it off.

I'm very aware that all black fighters do not fight the same. However, at those weight classes (the 120's), they are definitely more likely to box than to go in there & brawl.

Than you mention Emmanuel Taylor. I said he was a solid fighter, nothing more. I''m not even sure what your point is here man.

http://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-murray-real-possibility-february-2015--83350

Another report of GGG floating the idea that since resigning with HBO they will televise all his fights and give him a bigger budget.
He plans to fight Feb in Monte Carlo and it looks like they are hoping to get Martin Murray.
That would be an excellent matchup and about the best opponent the current landscape allows for.

They again said they will change all plans if JCC decides to sign for a PPV.
