some are saying hes a better fighter now than he was in the amateurs based on beating overmatched opponents. but overmatched opponents are there to make you look good thats why you cant base things on that
i have only seen one round of anthony joshua vs erislandy savon which was a fight most think joshua walked away from with a blatant gift. from what i saw thats accurate. lots of bad signs here showing up that you wont see against the guys handpicked for joshua to beat
http://www.boxingnews24.com/2012/08/savon-dominates-joshua-but-still-loses/
he was geting his head whacked with the jab repeatedly. chin in the air he doesnt move his head. but of course you dont see things like that get exposed against overmatched opponents
I honestly don't get why you are so extra critical of a guy who has not had 10 fights yet. it makes no sense.
A few of us have said he has potential but nobody has placed Joshua on a pedestal at all or think he should be getting title shots based off the level of comp he has beaten.
Very few fighters make the step-up this early in their careers so your digging through his amateur career and harping on who he has beaten to prove a point about his lack of defense is just mind-boggling to me.
