WBC doesn't allow unifications correct?? Makes sense Why they had to pay Postol to step aside for a voluntary
Nobody is saying he beat Garcia but he didn't get destroyed and dominated to the point of no rematch. Plus w Postol stepping aside who else is there to fight at 140?
I had it 8-4, that's not having difficulty with someone in my opinion.
if you go back and look at his amateur career, back when he was fighting fighters that wanted to win, he gets hit a lot and gets tired. when he got knocked down and was on the verge of being knocked out by dillian whyte he had his chin way up in the air and thats why his head spun around so hard when that left hook hit him. hes 9 fights into his pro career and his chin is still in the air. sometimes the amateur boxing system hides things. it hides stamina flaws because the fights are short, it hides chin questions underneath that headgear. people say hes more skilled than wilder and he won a gold medal in 2012 but wilder won the bronze in 2008 and a lot of people thought joshua really lost to the italian and should have got the silver. england was the host of that olympics. how far in skill are wilder and joshua really.Surprised by the joshua hype. I saw nothing special last night
I just saw him fight once and was impressed with his size and power but now after hearing thisif you go back and look at his amateur career, back when he was fighting fighters that wanted to win, he gets hit a lot and gets tired. when he got knocked down and was on the verge of being knocked out by dillian whyte he had his chin way up in the air and thats why his head spun around so hard when that left hook hit him. hes 9 fights into his pro career and his chin is still in the air. sometimes the amateur boxing system hides things. it hides stamina flaws because the fights are short, it hides chin questions underneath that headgear. people say hes more skilled than wilder and he won a gold medal in 2012 but wilder won the bronze in 2008 and a lot of people thought joshua really lost to the italian and should have got the silver. england was the host of that olympics. how far in skill are wilder and joshua really.

Sounds like wlad would work him.
let's really judge him when he faces a proper live opponent..I just saw him fight once and was impressed with his size and power but now after hearing this
Sounds like wlad would work him.
Joshua is addressing the stamina issue by losing some of that bulk...he is a lot slimmer now than he used to be.if you go back and look at his amateur career, back when he was fighting fighters that wanted to win, he gets hit a lot and gets tired. when he got knocked down and was on the verge of being knocked out by dillian whyte he had his chin way up in the air and thats why his head spun around so hard when that left hook hit him. hes 9 fights into his pro career and his chin is still in the air. sometimes the amateur boxing system hides things. it hides stamina flaws because the fights are short, it hides chin questions underneath that headgear. people say hes more skilled than wilder and he won a gold medal in 2012 but wilder won the bronze in 2008 and a lot of people thought joshua really lost to the italian and should have got the silver. england was the host of that olympics. how far in skill are wilder and joshua really.
How'd you score the fight? He got beat clearly. There was no debate, no split decision, AND Danny Garcia dominated the 2nd half of the fight.
You just said it yourself about Floyd vs Maidana, that:
If that's the case, then why are we talking about Garcia vs Matthysse again? Danny won 8 rounds to 4 rounds and was never in any trouble like Floyd was against Maidana...plus he dropped Matthysse for the 1st time in his career, damaged his eye, and had him going to a sports psychologist to get his head back right after the fight....all something Floyd did NOT do against Maidana.
You said "that's not having difficulty with someone", on Floyd's side, then why are you not taking that mind process with Garcia vs Matthysse?
Matthysse doesnt deserve a rematch until he proves himself to be back. He's beaten no one since losing to Garcia and, like I said, he owes Molina a rematch more than Garcia owes him a rematch
i disagree. go back and watch more of his amateur fights. he gets tagged a lot and when he gets hit that chin is not tucked. he gets tired and he gets sloppy and that technique goes out the window. he starts arm punching and lunging and his legs have bad balance. His defense is a work in progress but he isn't strolling around with his hands down and his chin in the air either. He is technically sound.

the guys you are assessing him against right now are not in there trying to win.
the ref had to give him a standing 8 count here and he got lit up the entire second round of this fight against a guy thats trying to win.
