This is why I loved that Broner card.
When is the last time we had 2 young, Black American championship caliber fighters face each other in a main event in front of 9k beautiful black faces ?
You got white media members, promoters and posters here telling you black support for boxing is dead
But Broner and Crawford just proved dem wrong

Actually, I think it means Haymon is negotiating with Roc Nation. It's clear they'll overpay to win. This could be a good thing. Hopefully Haymon is realizing how great that partnership could be.Stiverne-Wilder purse bid got delayed until Oct 1. Is Haymon trying to do something to hurt Roc Nation's chances of winning bid?
FLOYD MAYWEATHER SAYS HE'S ONLY DEFENDING WBC AND WBA WELTERWEIGHT TITLES
By Ben Thompson | September 09, 2014
According to undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, his WBC and WBA 147-pound titles will be the only belts on the line when he steps into the ring to face former welterweight champion Marcos Maidana this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mayweather informed FightHype.com of the news shortly after a visit to Fatburger following a late-night training session on Monday evening.
It was previously believed that Mayweather would defend both his WBC and WBA welterweight titles, along with his WBC jr. middleweight title, when his team reportedly made the request to the WBC to defend both of their titles simultaneously. However, Mayweather himself has disapproved of the idea, telling FightHype that he's only defending his WBC and WBA welterweight titles.
