Haymon absolutely told Quillin to not take Korobov fight.
Quillin's biggest purse to date: $400k to $450k. If they can't get $1.4 million vs. Jacobs...Winky Wright school of business.
Unless your name is Floyd, Haymon makes all your fight decisions.
There is no question Haymon's goal is to squeeze out all other promoters and is trying to gain ownership of all fighters.
Part of the reason Floyd left HBO was that he was not a producer on 24/7. He wanted control over the show and HBO would not give it to him.
Many think Haymon is breaking the Muhammed Ali act, but nothing is done about it because the government has never tried to remotely enforce it. And no lawsuits have been filed against him.
Ward still owes Goosen over a year on his contract, according to the court hearings.
HBO Johnny Tapia documentary coming this Fall.
GGG's fight has already sold more than half the tickets. Box office is considered good so far.

yeah the book is laid out quite simple but the stories are enough to cause internal wreckage.
The subject of Muhammad Ali is well-trodden ground.
The boxer that changed a sport (and an entire nation) has been the subject of writers, reporters and big-budget Hollywood filmmakers ever since commandeering the ring in the 1960s.
Untold numbers of books and movies have attempted to lift the curtain on Ali's closely guarded personal life, to varying results.
The latest attempt to untangle this Gordian knot is I Am Ali—a documentary focusing on the boxer's inner circle of family, friends and former opponents.
An Focus World project, I Am Ali focuses on unreleased recordings of phone calls the former heavyweight title holder had with family members, friends and opponents during his boxing career.
A trailer for the movie has been released featuring bits and pieces of the exchanges. For a lack of a more eloquent endorsement, it's pretty damn cool.
The trailer features one recording of Ali talking about his career in typical Ali fashion.
"So I was the Concorde of boxing. I was at higher altitude than the rest, moving faster than the rest," Ali says. "But you'll just have to get used to flying on jets again. You can't ride Concorde anymore."
I Am Ali features interviews with George Foreman, Mike Tyson and Ali's manager Gene "The Facilitator" Kilroy—all attempting to quantify the elemental power Ali commanded during his reign at the top of the boxing world.
The documentary debuts in theaters Oct. 10, and if the trailer is any indication, it will provide the deepest look yet into the butterfly side of the man who stung like a bee.
