Don't know what type of punishment he took leading up to that...but if that guy didn't die, there are imbeciles out'chea that would say he took a dive beause of the way he fell out and the punches APPEARING to not land all that cleanly.
Keep this clip in mind to those that think Wilder-Scott was fake... Sometimes what a boxer feels when they get hit with something fierce, doesn't translate all that well to film, becuase of the Hollywood/WWE inspired preconceived notions by casual fans on what a "knocked out" or hurt fighter should look like.

This guy was game at the start of the fight but at around the :20 mark Kovalev hit him with a left hook that seemed to take all the fire out of him and then that KO punch looks like it landed on the top of his head.

Just like Wilder-Scott, to the untrained eye, there's nothing in the clip above that Kovalev landed that LOOKS like a "knockout punch"...let alone something that would cut out your lights FOR GOOD.

At best you could say maybe that slapping left hook to the temple was the punch that did Scott in but that right hand never touched Scott...it hit all gloves and arms.

Right hand clipped his chin as the close up shows...the left could've done more damage though.

The left to the ear hole is what took Malik scott out. I think he probably could have got up but he was shook from the power and he know Wilder can be a shark when hes got a guy hurt
If anything did it was the left because that right aint do shyt.
And then Scott just said fukk it... give me my money, I'm going home. He could have got up but he took the dive because he was scared shytless.
