I think Arum is trying to use Floyd's name to draw interest to Manny Pacquiao who's fight on PPV is in November.

Nah talks is legit breh, Floyd Sr and Sam Watson said the fight would happen next year, not to mention TMT at TR offices

The only thing I'm concerned about is the Algieri fight it's a bad style for Manny it always has been, do Arum want him to lose before his payday, like his other cash cows..............If I was Manny id sit out this one if the talks are true............Manny better get a KO here, he can't trust the judges in this fight

I wouldnt want to see Manny taking two beatings, I talk shyt but like I said time and time again before they were eachother's radar Floyd and Manny were my favorite fighters, although he lost me over time I still love Manny.............. if the first one is a brutal ass whooping he needs to close the book on Floyd, he still have a dozen fights after that, Swift, Chino, Guerrero, JMM, Prov, Matthysse, the list goes on and on

I just could never imagine Floyd losing to Pacquiao. Floyd is too skilled for him. Manny struggles against JMM and Floyd is a taller, faster, stronger, longer reach, better defensively, better chin, better counter puncher, better footwork, better ring IQ version of JMM

He is, but I also believe that Mayweather & Pacquaio plan on retiring soon & the best option for both of them is to retire facing each other.

I've been saying this for years. When the fight didn't happen after Mayweather beat Marquez, I knew both sides weren't gonna seriously make the fight until years later. Make their money fighting these other nyggas & when the time is right, cash out.

The only thing is both of these guys have bad spending habits, so they'll come back like so many fighters do, especially Manny. His gambling habits & entourage puts Floyd's to shame.
