The eye was crucial, but people also downplay the subtle lateral movement Danny was using in the 2nd half of the fight. Swift would stay out of range just enough where he could land, while making LM have to really reach an extend to hit Danny. I mean LM still caught dude with some good ones, but he could never land more than one decent punch at a time because of the distance Garcia would create. That shyt is pure basics really.
He basically did what Zab and Alexander did, but to a lesser extent. Those dudes are natural movers whereas Danny isn't, but he still knows how to get around the ring a bit.
LM is reaching Arthur Abraham levels of bytchery with all his excuses and complaining during fights. It was an even money fight going in despite the odds and I even pick LM to win a close one, but he lost fair and square. It was definitely competitive enough to warrant a rematch though. I just think LM would have a stronger case if he would have given Molina the Mike Dallas treatment like everyone expected him too. Both dudes struggled mightily in their most recent fights. I rather they both get a few good wins before they entertain the thought of a rematch, but that's just me.

Well, for starters he definitely handled Soto Karass a lot better than Chino did.
I don't think it's some epic reach for Thurman to beat Maidana or at least be an even fight going in.

I think he stopped wit the drinks before ariza was officially gone,hoping he could adapt to being normal for that mayweather fight which never materialized. I liked manny prior to me believing he was on that shyt. But manny without the shakes would have never did oscar or cotto like that. Keep being naive though. I feel you, but Maidana had to come back and score that KO whereas Thurman scored a KO after dominating dude throughout the fight. Yeah he had a shaky moment in the beginning, but Chino was having shaky rounds.
