Thurman headlining on a Showtime Saturday night triple header while Lopez fighting on ESPN2...on a Thursday.:pachaha:
breh you know why josesito is fighting on espn 2..dude is getting soft touches for the time being and he needs it...Ortiz-canelo-maidana back to back...let him get a decent winning streak going

I really hope breh doesn't show struggle tonight. that anchondo fight had me :patrice:.... at getting KD by a jab from a passed it mike anchondo. I like dude and I think he can still be something at 147.

Also, the one thing I don't like about the excuse about not being a draw is that boxers are so hypocritical about it.

Paulie says he won't fight Thurman until he becomes a bigger name, but he's ok with getting beaten up by Cano for pennies :usure:

Maidana says Thurman isn't a big enough name to warrant a fight. How big of a draw was Josesito :usure:

Guerrero got a fight with Floyd, now he thinks he can hold out for all the big stars like he's a household name :why:

So it's ok to fight for less when you can pad your record, but for actually challenges you should get paid :smh: Nah fukk that, it's either one way or the other.

That's what I hate about boxing these days

Hands down biggest problem in boxing, IMO.

Imagine the Miami Heat saying the Wizards aren't a draw and being able to avoid them.

Or Roger Nadal turning down a match in a tournament because the No. 147 ranked nobody he's set to face 'isn't on his level'.

I understand it's boxing and it's impossible to compare it to other sports but the fighters nowadays are basically encouraged to duck.

At the same time, it's on the fighter to make a name of themselves in other ways if their straight talent and political game isn't doing it.

AB is still a name in this sport, with a spot on the PPV of the year because he plays the flashy, cocky villian.

Thanking God after the fight and saying 'I'll fight who my manager says to' isn't enough for some guys.

Go out there, rush press conferences, list the guys ducking you on Twitter. Demand attention.

Better yet, imagine the Heat playing teams like the Hawks who don't have a big fanbase and aren't a threat, but avoiding a teams like the Pacers who are a legit threat but aren't a big name team.

I understand that it's a business and such. The problem is with me as a fan, I wanna see the best fights available, from a quality standpoint. I don't give a fukk about business. And not only that, but the politics affect the way fans look at boxers.

Just look at Thurman. Many fans like myself, are fans of One Time as a fighter. But others keep harping on the fact that he hasn't beaten anybody, and that we need to wait until he beats quality fighters. The problem is that nobody wants to fight him. So we criticize him for his weak resume, but yet he's not getting a chance to strengthen it. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Thurman is like a high school teenager/young adult out of college that is looking for a job, but can't find one because everybody wants workers with experience. But how is somebody to get experience if nobody will hire them in the 1st place? :dead:

fukk all the politics, I just wanna see the best fighters get the best fights. But like I said, that's not how boxing works anymore, so all of this is a moot point unfortunately :smh:

That ain't shyt. The shyt i hate the most is these fakkits having belts and still being matched against nobodies. This nikka broner has how many fights, loses one, and gets matched with some bum who aint fight in 2 years? :dwillhuh:

This nikka Danny faces Lucas then goes to Herrera? :what:

Dudes talking about a soft touch, for what? You got like 20 matches with nobodies and you lose one fight and go back to fighting nobodies instead of keeping the pace and beating the top guys?

This "creating stars" thing is bullshyt.

I feel what you saying breh, but it's a double edged sword. If a dude takes on bad ass after bad ass and has some close fights or lose 'em you'll have dudes coming in with their....

"That nikka ain't shyt and never was shyt."
" Dude should have never tried to reach for greatness with those type of limited skills."
"He got rushed. There's no way I would have put him in there with so and so."

I mean look how bad nikkas like Vargas and Jermain Taylor get talked about. Dudes took hard fights against cats who were either more experienced or bad style match ups. They held their own and showed balls for making the fight, but at the end of the day nikkas shyt on them for losing those same fights.

Same thing with Oscar. He fought stretches of quality opponents, but since he never dominated most of them he gets talked about like he;s some 2nd rate boxer and not the HOF dude he really is.

I feel where you coming from with Danny Garica. Herrera wasn't even that bad of a match up, but he could have easily faced someone better and prolly would have looked better doing so. Hell, I thought Zab was supposed to be a soft touch. He fights LM and then needs another soft touch. WTF.

Broner could have fought someone better than Molina as well. Dude been MIA since the Khan lost and now Broner loses and that nikkas phone gets rung off the hook. I mean damn,

Danny Garcia did lose that fought though brehs.

Herrera won a close fight and we all saw him not get the nod.

Danny wasn't right do to his weight drain to 140, but he did lose.

I won't say "ass whooped" but I did give that fight to Herrera

So you gave this fight to Herrera :mjpls:

Yet you scored Broner/Malignaggi for Broner. :mjpls:

Exactly..
but nikkas will try in save face and say it was an ugly fight and make you believe you just watched Ruiz vs Golota. :snoop:

It was no robbery on some Pac/Bradley shyt, but the wrong man got his hand raised. I'll just leave it at that.

So, the Cat Burglar didn't lose to Ricky Hatton and then fight in a 8 round fight his very next time out?

Or what about when he lost to Khan? He didn't fight in a 10 round fight against Michael Lozado his very next fight?:comeon:

Damn y'all love throwing shots at #BandCamp and #swiftset:snoop:

Me and the rest of the world had it for Broner except you, Mook, the haters who hate EVERYTHING Adrien Broner on thecoli, the blind judge, and the Cat Burglar himself.

Would you like me to post the scorecards from press row, AP, ESPN, Showtime, and the judges again?

The Garcia vs Herrera fight was much closer than Broner vs Malignaggi.
