see i just brought up in a convo about michael grant but dominick guinn..this cat used to frustrate the hell out of me..just wasted talent..i remember this cover like it was yesterdsy

none of these cats amounted to anything but guinn could have been something more....when he was hot he had the performances like when he beat down grant and boxed up harrison..when he was cold he was listless as fukk in one stupid loss after another

Right??? It’s revisionist history to say he was matched to early when in real time people were damn near telling Mell to hand the belt over. That fight earned Mell crazy respect.

He didn’t have a champion mentality. I don’t want to say he was mentally weak. He had some sort of mental block. Just wasn’t that guy and didn’t move his hands unless he felt threatened.
