Andre Ward Speaking Facts. I haven't watch the whole interview yet but I've seen a clip of Shields saying the same thing about how the more successful she became the more her family started to hate on her.
Yeah the more you spend on your loved ones the more they hate you...claressa couldn't understand it since she got into this to level up her ppls

:mjlol:

This is the same guy that stole money from his own people, an African company and was sued and taken to court. Then had to pay up.

He would never do this to his Jewish friends however...
IDK maybe folks got a valid reason to be mad at Floyd I know he has fallen out with a few people over the years.

Still my GOAT though. Don't care how many times he take pictures with Trump. Or say he not African. Or pay his fighters peanuts. Or wear tight designer clothes and hand bags.

He's TBE dammit!

Thrilla in Manila is the still the most vicious to me because it went 14 and both guys were never really the same

Ali should have retired after that match, and if not AT LEAST until the rematch with Leon Spinks in 1978

If he would have retired after Leon Spinks, his post retirement condition would have been 10x better. Honestly, I hate talking about it :mjcry:

Honestly he should've retired after he beat Foreman. Everything else afterwards was just unnecessary.

Manila, the 3rd fight with Norton, Earnie Shavers and that 1st Spinks fight were all brutal fights

Nah the fight with Foreman he still was in very good condition, and riding high even though he was slightly older at 32

The problem is that the Thrilla in Manilla should have never happened. He mis-calculated and thought Frazier was over the hill and thought it was going to be an easy payday. The fight ended up being near death and he paid for it unfortunately

At least the Leon Spinks rematch was a balance between adding to his legacy of being a 3 time champion and getting out the game early enough before he suffered too much damage
