It didn't impact him when he moved up and destroyed Fulton. Inoue is moving up to 126 eventually. He knows that in order for him to be a star he will have to keep moving up.

There is no big time payday at featherweight. To add Tank already said, once he clears 135 he is retiring. The rumor is right now that Inoue is going to move up to 126 at some point. Once that happens, who knows....Tank showed some interest in it despite the weight differ.

Inoue is the big time payday at the lower weights he doesnt have to move up at all to get paid. Move up to be a star? hes literally a national hero. :mjlol:

only way I can see it happening is at 130/132 catch weight in Tokyo or Vegas on some "Who is the Best in the World", this would be the real path for what Turki wants to do with Canelo and Bud. Prob on a USA vs Japan card lol and I can ONLY see it if Monster dominates at 126

it didnt because he was starting to have trouble making 118 so the 4 pounds helped going up and he kept his speed and power. monster is a star right now because fighters have to go to him to get paid. he is the money man in the lower divisions. the saudis themselves have been actively wanting to pay him unheard amounts for somebody in the lower weights to be on their cards :heh:

currently there's 3 divisions separating him and tank. what ppl want from monster should want from tank too. tank held gamestop belts at 135 and 140 and did not face the number 1 cat (who were undisputed champions) in either one. hell he didnt even attempt to do it. tank should go to 147 then. monster will prolly move up next year after clearing a couple more fighters/mandos at 122. monster has plenty of fighters to fight if he goes up to 126 without needing to fight tank
